Easy as pie
I was a bit apprehensive about buying this after reading some of the other reviews, but I can honestly say I don't understand where they're coming from:- The instructions are for this kit, clear, and easy to follow.- The kit is easy to assemble. I had the chamber running in minutes.- There is no significant leakage if everything is assembled properly.- The hose clamps work fine, you just need to tighten them properly.The kit also comes with plenty of oil, as well as spare parts should you need to make repairs at some point.As someone without any prior experience with vacuum systems, I was honestly expecting this to take longer to set up and to struggle with leaks much more than I did.

Sturdy piece of kit
Well boxed, arrived on time. Easy to assemble. Works v well but getting a 100% vacuum is not easy. Stops around 90% and struggles after that. But worth the money

Vacuum for bubble remover for resin.
Best piece of equipment that I have purchased for my hobby and definitely worth every penny to remove bubbles from resin.

Damaged seal
Used item once and an obvious gasket leak push oil into vacuum pump

Check the top of the chamber is level
Bought this to use for resin casting and to help with staining wood dipped wood into stain ( raw linseed oil and Tung oil) wiped off excess and put in the chamber had a problem with sealing the lid on as the top was uneven sealed with some self adhesive draft excluder now works great will hold the vacuum for over 24 hours

Not the best
The pan that comes with it has an uneven rim so it doesnt create a seal, luckily i have one already off the same diameterDoesnt get to stated pressure only about 90%
