Levenger Circa 1-2-3 Sleek Portable Punch (ADS9965)

This is the first year I'm trying a disc bound planner system for my home made teacher planner, and I ALMOST sprang for the heavier duty desk punch. However, since I wasn't sure if I'd like the system or not, I decided to go with this, even though it means hand punching almost 100 pages with it. I got the planner printed and punched today, and I have to say, I'm quite pleased. I was able to get 3 sheets of 24lb paper punched, even though I did have to stand up to get the leverage needed to punch thoroughly. My guess is that you could do 4 sheets of regular copier paper (usually 20lb), and probably just one sheet of regular cardstock. I did pause halfway through punching to give my hands a rest, but overall, I'm really happy with this purchase.

What a disappointment. One sheet at a time and the paper gets stuck very easily inside. Sometimes the teeth get caught in a depressed position preventing you from being able to insert your paper. For a portable punch it's actually quite bulky. So much so it doesn't fit upright in my backpack. Wish I could return it. I tried but for some reason amazon wouldn't approve the return request.Unless you really truly absolutely desperately need a punch you take on the go I'd save yourself the cash and hassel.

This Levenger Circa 1-2-3 Sleek Portable Punch (ADS9965) is not for heavy duty jobs, and it is not built to be your one and only disc punch. Be nice to it. "Portable" is in the description.To me, portable means small, light, and functional. This item meets all those expectations. This portable punch will punch 3 pages at a time nicely. For the bigger jobs, I purchased The universal desk punch from Levenger website.In my opinion, the Levenger punches make the pages in my planner turn more smoothly. The punched 'hole' is bigger than the Tul punch. (Levenger and Tul are the only punches I have used.) I am currently using Tul discs but have also used the Happy planner discs with this punch.

It works great but when I go to pull out the paper, the top two - three holes get stuck and if I pull the papers then they rip. I found that this is due to the metal hold punch not going back up after being pushed down. So, I take a pen cap and push it up from underneath each time. Not too big of an issue but getting the top part of the paper out is still a problem (just not as much). If yours does this I suggest returning it and getting a new one!

The product worked fine for the first few weeks. Then the middle section began to not cut properly. It is now stuck in the closed position and I can’t use it at all. Unfortunately the return window has closed but I was very disappointed in the quality of this product.

I had bought this last month and haven't used it yet until today. I was preparing for the next term and though it can only punch 1 paper at a time. I was annoyed but not until i couldn't insert any paper at all. Like something was stuck or something. At that point im just thinking this is such a waste of money. Sure its portable and that's great, but theres too many problems for me to actually finding a use for it. As i was locking the three flips, the top flip even though i press lock to by moving the switch upward it didn't lock. As i was unlocking it, the switch snapped off. Even though this product is still new to the market, i had expectations that it would make things work. It was my fault to not make it to the return window but at the same time we shouldn't need to return something if in all honesty if it was actually a good product. Its such a waste of money.

Flat so it's easy to carry in my bag and it was MUCH cheaper than the "Me and my Big Ideas" big planner punch- now I can print my own items to put into my planner! It has three sections so I assume it would work with the smaller planners too. I haven't tried to put holes into anything like cardstock (yet) but it works very well and punches holes into 3 pieces of paper at one time.

Amazing, cuts perfetcly. Although, can’t do many pages at a time (paper doesn’t fit). It even has a practical piece that holds the cut out pieces, so there’s no mess.

Appears a little flimsy, so handle with care. However, this product is affordable and very useful.
