The foam padding of these replacements are not the same type of forming foam used from the manufacturer.
Inexpensive for sure. Fits and easy to replace. If you just want an inexpensive replacement these are perfect. What I noticed is the foam padding of these replacements are not the same type of forming foam used from the manufacturer. The foam that came with the original purchase form to your ear and make seal. These inexpensive replacements did not form a nice seal around the ear so the sound is not as quiet or pure. I did a sample test of keeping one replacement and one original. For me there is a large enough difference. I also compared the width, thickness and materials of the insert ring and there is a noticeable difference there as well. The original were a little wider, thicker and different material possibly resulting in a tighter seal as well.I figured that I paid a good amount of money when I purchased the Bose headphones so I tossed these inexpensive replacements in the waste basket and paid $35 online with and order directly from Bose.

Not as nice as the picture would suggest.
A bit disappointed that the pads themselves are quite creased versus the Bose originals and versus the picture. I’ve used once and were comfortable- but not sure about how the creases affected the noise cancellation (if at all). Looks are ok. Doesn’t seem like memory foam but I am comparing to memory foam that retains it shape for a moment. Maybe there is a different type - but I doubt it. Fit onto the shell was pretty good but not perfect. A couple of the tabs refused and did not lock over the ear pad. OK for the money but if I could do it again I may of tried a different set.

Not the same as OEM pads
Looked the same and installed easily on my Quietcomfort 15. But on the plane I noticed much louder than originals.Tried my wife's Quietcomfort 35 side by side with moderate volume sound system in background. These replacements were no were as good.I'll buy the originals and see if they improve. Since the only reason I have them is for noise cancelling, I rated it 2/5

Good value for money
The ear cups on my Bose earphones were in a very sad state after perhaps 20 or more years of use. The new ear cups refreshed the headphones to "like new" status. They were extremely easy to fit following the enclosed instructions. My one criticism would be that those instructions are in an extremely small font making them hard to decipher. I actually had to scan the instructions and enlarge the resulting scan in order to read them properly. That is the only reason for a 4 star rating above.

Almost just like the original!
What attracted me to these pads was that they were made to fit as OE...some of the other replacement pads are "stick on", and that didn't appeal to me. To the naked eye, these replacement pads are identical to OE. However, they did not perfectly fit into the fitting grooves and as I pressed home the last bit to a satisfying "click", a different section of the fitting ring popped out...it was like playing whack-a-mole. I gave up in the end, and it's hard to notice the one little section popped out along the fitting track on both ears. It doesn't seem to affect performance, and it doesn't affect comfort. I would buy them again. They look great, they're a lot cheaper than OE or a new set of Bose headphones, and for what I use them (on the computer at night), they're more than fine.

Cheap Replacements
I would not purchase these. They are not the same foam material as the originals.Pros: Easy to install, okay for non noise cancelling bose headphones (I have sound true II)Cons: The material does not wick off moisture like the original - you will see grease stains much more vividly. It does not make a good seal around the ear, sound can travel in and out.
