Product Description Pulses and beans are a natural source of protein, high in fibre and used European, Middle Eastern and Asian cooking, especially by vegetarians. Huge bag of split peas for a great price
I had been trying to buy yellow split peas from my supermarket for a couple of months now but they were constantly out of stock. I found these on Amazon and it was a really big bag at an excellent price. I used them when making homemade chicken soup and they were really nice. I will use them again with other varieties of home made soup. Great buy!

big bag...shame about the rest
sadly i have had the same experience as per other customers, soaked for ages, cooked for ages, no salt, nothing but plain water, on the second day and nothing, i even slow cooked twice for over 2 hours each time....nothing, seen the massive increase in utility price, this turns out a massive waste of time and energy....

Made lovely soup and just same as shops will be buying these all the time.
Got these for ham and pea soup as I make it all the time and could not get any at shops.

its actually going to be used as a small bean bag for photograph reasons so no idea on taste but its a good sized bag for the money

They are a good quality split pea, I use them to make pea and ham soup which I love during the colder months.
