Operating Perfectly. Annoying to Update the Firmware.
I got this TPM Module for an Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero X570 motherboard, with an AMD Ryzen 5950X CPU. It was apparently a known issue that some of these CPUs had fTPM issues. Installed the TPM module, chose the module in BIOS, and it shows up in Windows 11 correctly. It has been running for a bit over a month now and I still haven't seen anyone of the TPM errors previously reported in Event viewer from my fTPM show back up. My only complaint is the TPM module arrived one firmware update behind. It is quite the process to update these. The main issue being getting your hands on a firmware file for these. It uses the Infineon SLB 9665TT2.0. This supplier leaves FW updates to the manufacturers that implement them, so you can't find the files on Infineon's website. The module came with V5.63.3144.0. The latest being V5.63.3353.0. If you want to update this unit Google search "Infineon 9665 fedipress firmware" and have fun from there. It'll include files for this unit and another. Ignore the ones in the V6 and V7 range, as those are only for the Infineon SLB 9670VQ2.0. This one uses the V4 and V5 files for the update. Also, the "Remaining Updates" status is a lieeeee.
