Awesome addition to the tool set!
These are an awesome addition for panel wire dressing and changing phase color on conductors used that are not factory colored insulation. I had to pull blacks that I had on hand for neutrals and these work superbly. I'll be buying more to have on hand and hand out to other crew members on my team.

Miracle tool!!!
My husband uses this at work. He's an electrician and they have to color wire and wrap it in endless amounts of tape. Now he just slides this on and it paints the wire permanently. Even the inspectors passed it without issue. If you accidentally paint it red, you can go over it with white and the red doesn't show at all. Miracle tool! All the guys at work want one now. Very durable. Good value for the money. Actually, great value!

Good overall
Being a industrial electrician this has served me well. My only real complaint is they do leak a little bit and I had one completely dry out. To be fair, I would say the ladder is primarily operator error 😁. But would recommend

Great purchase!
These pens work really well. I can mark cabling from 22awg to 12awg

Fantastic
Compared to U-Phase markers, these are FAR superior. I do wish there were varying sizes for these markers (ones with a hole for different gauge wires), and I wish that there was a green one available, but these are so much easier to use, coat better, And the tip doesn’t pop off

Super impressed with the coverage!
Used them at work, now everyone is wanting to borrow them. They dry relatively quick, too. Very solid coloring, even over black. Very good purchase. Definitely keeping in my panel bags.

Brilliant idea but lacking in execution. Biggest flaw is the paint is way too sticky and tacky and takes very long to dry. About 5 minutes later it's still sticky and easily rubs off. 10 minutes later it's drier but still rubs off too easy. 20 minutes and it probably won't rub off and show the original color of the insulation but you'll still get a sticky red grime on your finger if you handle it much, feels like you touched half dried up maple syrup. It's super quick and neat to do the marking and only requires minor touchups but once you gotta slide the pen fully off it's completely unavoidable to not paint right up to the end of the wire, then good luck trying to lay the springy wire down with out touching the paint or rubbing it against something. When I use a standard red paint marker from a stationary store it's more tedious and streaky to color the wire and takes alot more touchups after, but by the time I finished the last end the first end is already fully dry to the touch a minute or two later. Not so with this rackatiers marker. I used this marker on 12awg and it was a good fit. Sure it would work fine for 14 too. Haven't tried it on 10awg yet. Read some other reviews where ppl complained about drips. I haven't used my pen too much yet but so far zero issue with drips over leaks. If you're an electrician who does a lot of random things at work and have a little room to spare in your tool bag I still recommend carrying one of these around as it'll occasionally be a nice convenient time saver if you can let the wire sit mid task and go do something else for awhile but if you're doing regular color marking be prepared for some hiccups.

Absolutely horrible, The marker leaks everywhere. Was using it for the first time at a panel upgrade, and it look everywhere on the floor, very liquidy and got on the walls aswell. Cost me more then what I made just to cover for damages and paint. Highly not recommend
