Put the rice cakes and powdered sauce, add water, mix well, and then microwave for 2 minutes 30 seconds. After taking it out of the microwave, cover with the lid and wait for an additional 30 seconds. Going through this process will double the texture of the rice cakes.

Good flavors, chewy rice cakes, filling
These Tteokbokki Cups were interesting. I am a fan of American- Chinese food, and have been exploring more Asian type cuisine, so I had to give these cups a try. They came in three flavors: original, spicy, and jjajang. Two cups of each.My favorite had to be original. It was actually spicy. Spicy had a tomato flavor, and jjajang had a fishy flavor. Each cup came with a package of the rice cakes, and a packet of the designated seasoning. The directions are the same, empty the cakes and seasoning in the cup, add water then microwave. Very simple.I had only tried dried rice cakes in the past, so the rice cakes in these were a different experience. Soft and seriously chewy. Rubbery, even. Like a firm gummy worm. They really did need the season, otherwise they had no flavor. Prepared, strange but yummy.I found these to be very filling. Nice for something this portable and easy to prepare to make me feel full.

Fast and easy, all sauce packets contain fish/seafood, some contain dairy, too.
This Apexy Instant Tteokbokki Cup Variety Pack of 6 Korean Street with Original, Sweet & Spicy, Jjajang is a great introduction to these fun and tasty rice cakes, but we do prefer ours without fish/seafood. All three flavors contain either anchovies or oyster, and one contains whey, too. While these clearly are street food and the seasoning ingredient list is long, others that we've tried have been vegan or at least vegetarian.Even without the sauce packets, we do love Tteokbokki rice cakes! They are chewy and fun to eat. We use a sauce made from gochujang most times. I like that these are cooked quickly in their cups. Overall, great product. The listing says: "Allergen Information - Wheat, Tomato, Soy-bean " so there was no mention of seafood, fish, or dairy. I wish the flavor packets were not made with fish!

Very delicious and very spicy
Some of these are spicier than others, so I would recommend this to someone who enjoys spicy food specifically. Easy to make with just a little water needed. Nice chewy soup texture, and a solid variety pack to keep it interesting. Fans of Korean food will enjoy these.

Quick, Easy Snacky Dish.
This order came with 6 teokbokki cups, ready to make. They don't take much water at all, which surprised me. The texture was chewy as expected and the flavors were strong. It made a thick sauce with the noodles. For an on-the-go teokbokki, it works. It's an easy snack to have every now and then with lots of spice and aroma. The value is what I would expect for these type of cups.

Very unique
These are pretty good! It's a very unique dish. I've never tried anything like these before. It's like ramen sort of, but it's more of chewy cylindrical rice nuggets in instant soup. You put the rice cakes in along with the powder and then I pour boiling water over top of it all and let it sit for a few minutes. It tastes good to me, but it might be more of a niche food item than something everyone would love. The six pack I tried comes with 2 of each flavor -- 2 original, 2 sweet and spicy, and 2 jjajang. They're all pretty good. I think I liked the sweet and spicy the best. I'm not a big spicy person, so I didn't use the whole packet of seasoning and it was still very hot in my opinion, although tasty.

Easy to make, authentic Korean-style Tteokbokki
These are very easy to make in the microwave for those who hate cooking (like myself). Just take the lid off, empty the rice cake and powder into the cup, fill to the line with water, stir, and microwave for 2 minutes on a 1100w microwave. You can also follow the listing directions and cover and nuke for another 30 seconds for a bit softer texture. Out of the 3 flavors included, I personally liked the savory Jjajang flavor the most. These taste just like the Tteokbokki I've had from a Korean restaurant. These are made in South Korea.

Tasty quick lunch
This is a tasty quick lunch. It’s like a cup o noodles but easier to eat because it’s less noodley. It’s a little heavy on the salt but not too much, and it doesn’t taste as salty as I’d expect for the salt content. The flavors are good and I like the texture of the rice cake.
