Most puck screens are the 1-2mm thick woven steel wire type. These however are much thinner and use an embedded mesh.They take up much less space in the group which is great for my specific machine because the normal shower screen has a protruding screw which takes up a good 3mm of height in the basket.So with the other filters they end up getting distorted with a screw imprint. This one however allows me to use it properly and doesn't get damagedReally nice, great for keeping the group head clean

Liked using this in my workflow right away, using it with my basic but functional Casabrews machine, working great in the standard setup and helps keep the machine clean between shots and will test to see if anything else is enhanced soon … nice

Nearly a perfect fit, a tiny bit too small, some grinds still very into the group head.Overall, an improvement over not having them.

These are great. Easy to clean compared to normal puck screens. They don’t seem to affect the extraction time and they’re well made. Would definitely recommend.

Works well. I like them because they feel solid. Easy to wash. And very thin. Keeps grinds away from screen well.

Having tried the thicker screens I occasionally found the portafilter to be a tight fit to the espresso machine. This screen is much thinner so no such issues arise. I see no difference in flow rate, the group head stays clean and the coffee is never adversely affected.No hesitation in recommending this screen.

I bought it for my Breville Oracle Touch, and it's a game changer. The coffee has a smoother taste. I thought it would be a problem with the water flow, but no, the flow is perfect. It's very easy to use and Very well made. Oh, and Super easy to clean. I'm surprised how well it works. It's lightweight and the size is perfect.

I can't tell a difference in shot quality from this compared to a mesh filter, but it's a lot thinner (which means more coffee in the basket) and much easier to clean.

Prompt delivery and works as expected. Much easier to clean and maintain compared to thicker mesh espresso puck screens.

The screen does nothing to prevent spritzing of the espresso. It confirms, at least for me, that it's gimmicky. However, it's advantage is in stopping the grinds from being back flushed up the group head which makes it worth using. To me, this is solely how these discs should be advertised.
