I got the item and plugged my headphones in, charger in, and plugged it into my phone and it didn’t charge. So I tried playing music and the music played via the phone speakers. I was gonna return it until I turned it over to see that the ports I used were not the correct ports. So, I switched the ports and everything works perfect. I love it. My phone battery is currently at 76% max capacity and I go to look at getting a new battery in it and it cost $80 roughly but the issue is they want me to sign a waiver in case information is lost. So, I said no thank you and found this and now I’m happy. Great buy. Buyer beware: use the correct ports.

After plugging this into my Apple 10XR, and then plugging the power into one of the two connection points, the phone didn't show it was charging. I plugged the power into the other side and still nothing. Then I plugged in my headphones and no audio. Then I removed the adaptor and found that it had burned out the power block! So, not only didn't it work, it destroyed a power block. I'm not who bought this and gave it such great reviews. But either the product QA has gone away or the manufacturer is just sending out known defective parts. Either way, don't buy it!

The audio in my apple earbuds works fine for music and videos but this adaptor doesn’t work for phone calls. I can’t hear or speak on phone calls.

Originally I plugged in my lightning cable and it charged really well. But then I plugged in my ear phones. But nothing! It acted like I hadn't plugged them in. The earphones were fairly cheap so I grabbed my expensive earphones and it worked out great. So I don't know what to make of them. Why didn't it realize my cheap earphones were plugged in? I've never had a problem with plugging them in directly so why a problem now with them and not with the expensive ones?

Purchased item in August 2025. Both worked fine until recently. Now neither one will work correctly. Connection issue.
