Those of you who rhinestone on fabric. do you like the hotfix better than glue on? i am worried that glue on lightweight fabric my be an issue

I dont like the hotfix on fabric. Remember by using hotfix on fabric can burn the fabric and also if the fabric gets warm to got the rhinestone will come off. I use the all purpose glue from dollar tree. The glue holds just like E6000. I love the glue.

How are these stones applied to fabric? All I have is a hot glue gun.

There is a rhinestone "hotfix" tool, but I have also used an iron before and that works too, you would just need to make sure the iron is on the right heat setting for whatever fabric you're working with. E-600 glue (in the gray tube) is also great and will last through washing. I have never tried a glue gun though so I'm not sure how well it works with these. Hope that helps!

Is the jet ab black or blue??? should be black?

It's a color shift..bluish black and teal

Can the hotfix tool be used on plastic?

I normally have been doing cotton masks. But with gentle care I did do a mask that had the nylon outer sleeve just fine.
