I always buy these pens since I was in high school. I forgot about these but during my decluttering process, I was so happy to see my untouched box of these pens. I thought I used it all up but I guess I hid my last box somewhere. I guess it’s not too late for my review since I bought boxes of these multiple times here on amazon. I am a nurse and I always need a pen. This is the perfect ballpoint pen for me. Writes smoothly, simple design, consistent pen mark and does not mess my uniform unlike other pens that I ended up having ink marks on my chest pocket. It dries quickly and does not leak. I highly recommend these!

Favorite pen from the 90s. I'm so glad to see these still being made. They write very evenly and last a long time. Better than all the gel pens on the market.

I am in the US Army, so I always have to have three pens in the little pen pocket on the ACU left arm. The type of pen you have makes an impression, as silly as it sounds, and having three sharp looking pens tucked away in your arm leaves you feeling prepared and stylin'. Most people try to be all fancy with three Zebra stainless pens. Zebra pens suck, its like you're writing with a large crayon and the ink frequently runs through the paper and leaves the page looking like Zoidberg squirted on it. Pilot pens are perfect. Your biggest issue will be that you can't stop people from taking them! It is very, very difficult to keep three of these pens in my arm pocket because people keep stealing them because they are, quite simply, the BEST pens you will find. These pens are light but have a good tactile feel with having any rubbery crap on the handle that will peel and fall off. The tip is fine so your writing on a page will be sharp and presentable. My penmanship improves dramatically when using a fine tip pen. The ball rolls easy and from very acute angles to the page (I will say that I have had some defect Pilot pens where the manufacturing didn't make a good ball and they didn't roll very well. I throw those out). The pen is comfortable for very long writing sessions of heavy notes. The pen seems to fit well in anyone's hand. Zebra pens are very small and people with big hands will have a tough time with them but the Pilot pens here are long enough that even a large hand will hold them. The ink is clear and will not run through any paper, even very thin paper or napkins. The pen is physically professional appearing but not so obviously flashy it looks ridiculous. These pens are not expensive compared to Zebra. They also are pretty tough, and my pen has been in the field on some nasty FTXs and come through like a champ. The end tip on these pens is just the right size for chewing and doesn't show the chew marks unless you are Ed the Hyena. A good pen is important and I've tried a number of them. This pen is the best. Everyone who uses these pens comments on them and asks where I bought them from. Pens are very important to me.

I have long had a soft spot in my heart for cheap Paper Mate ball point pens. After decades and decades of suffering through dried ink, stuck balls, and other ball point misfortunes, I finally decided to upgrade and to do it right. I mostly use pens for signing letters, writing checks, and writing notes to myself. I want a pen that is comfortable to hold and puts down permanent blue ink smoothly and consistently without any smearing. So I purchased three of the highest-rated retractable blue ball point pens on Amazon and when they arrived, my family conducted a write-off. Here are the results: 3. In third place, the Pentel R.S.V.P. RT Retractable Ball Point Pen, 1.0mm Tip, Transparent Barrel Blue Ink, Box of 12 (BK93-C) . Pentel makes the best mechanical pencils, which I have in all widths and styles, so this was the early favorite. Unfortunately it could not maintain its early lead. Comfortable to hold, but the inking is uneven. I will not buy this pen again even though it was the cheapest. 2. In second place, this Pilot Better Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Point, 0.45 mm, Blue Tinted Barrel, Blue Ink 12- Count (30006) . This is the least comfortable to hold but the inking is smooth and even. As of this writing, it is only a little bit cheaper than the top finisher so I don't think I will be buying this pen again either. 1. In first place by unanimous decision, the uni-ball Power Tank RT Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Blue Ink, Bold, Dozen (42071) . We all agreed it is the most comfortable to hold and it puts down the smoothest and most even ink. And it writes upside down! Everyone in my family strongly preferred this one, which is also the most expensive one. I will buy this pen again and again and again.

These Pilot pens are my favourite writing tool. Not only cheap but also have a lovely rich blue writing ink. Massive fan.

El producto es sencillo, pero de buena calidad y la escritura es suave, no se amontona la tinta, no mancha, punto fino, aunque es retráctil, la punta no tiene juego (movimiento) , por lo que la hace muy precisa. Me encantan estas plumas. No es la más económica pero lo vale.

Pens are of a good size, shape and write very nice. The line made by the pens is thin and smooth with no jitters or gaps. I also work where there is a lot of grease and they still hold up in all the wear and tear. Has no rubber grip and instead has a textured plastic so they are more durable. Best ball point I have used.
