I just moved into a new home, and the previous tenants lived extremely FILTHY. The home was so disgusting, and I keep finding so many new things I need to deep clean. One area in particular, was the garbage disposal, it smelled horrific and looks like they’ve never ever cleaned it a day in their life. I’m new to Active products, and every time I try something new, it never ceases to amaze me how clean it leaves everything. From the washer tablets, dishwasher tablets, and even the appliance wipes, everything I’ve purchased and used from Active has been so great. But the garbage disposal tablets in particular, have worked wonders. Like I mentioned, it was full of disgusting GUNK and it smelled when you got next to the sink. To try and even scrub in there, was a nightmare. I threw two tables in, and immediately there was a huge difference in cleanliness. It even cleaned it around the ring, and got some rust from the bottom out. All the hard gunk that initially couldn’t get scrubbed off, finally was removed after using these tablets. In the before and after photos, you can see a huge difference. It no longer smells rotten, it smells clean and citrusy. There was a tiny bit of gunk left from the first wash, but I did another round of 2 tablets, and it got it out in the next round. It was definitely not because the product wasn’t effective, but again, because the people who lived here before were filthy. I will continue to buy all Active Products because they are extremely effective, reasonably priced, and its a family business. Thanks Active!!

These work soooo well! I use them every weekend to keep the sink disposal smelling clean. Easy to use, they foam very well, they are mess free and leave my disposal clean and sink smelling nice. Highly recommend.

I was lookin' for a way to tackle the lingering smells from my garbage disposal, and this ACTIVE product really does a good job. It's super easy to use, you just run the hot water, drop a tablet in while it trickles, then flip on the disposal. The foam action is really cool to watch, you know it's getting up in there and cleaning out all the gunk that causes the stink. The citrus scent is nice and fresh and it absolutely eliminates the bad odors right away. My disposal looks and smells much cleaner after just one use, and the instructions say to use it once or twice a month, which the 24-pack makes easy for a whole year. It even seems to help the drain go faster, which is a big plus. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the fresh smell don't last as long as I'd like. The disposal is still clean, but the scent fades after a couple days. Still, it works really well and I think it's a great value for the price. I'd definitely recommend it for keeping your disposal fresh.

This disposal cleaner works great! I don’t notice it but when I clean out the disposal with these the smell is awful. I don’t smell it unless I’m cleaning it out. I thought i did a pretty good job of keeping it clean but apparently not. Once a month I throw one of these in and clean it out and the smell is gone! I put a reminder on my phone for the same day each month and it’s keeping it clean. You get a years supply! Definitely worth the money!

Just got and tried it! Outstanding product! Easy to use and does the job! Most important it’s USA made by a small company! I’m going to buy the washing machine cleaner as well!

I bought these tablets to run through my garbage disposal for a cleanup; although I dont use it ALL the time, but once or twice a week and wanted to see how these work. I followed the instructions on the box and saw videos of other who purchased these, but I did not see the same effects. For one, I did NOT see any foam bubbling up or forming while the disposal was on, and the trickling water stream of he faucet with the first tablet I used, SO I threw in another and ran the same steps. . . still nothing. It did gave a bit of a citrus aroma which I like, but it was very subtle. Perhaps I didn't do the process correctly, I will definitely try again and if I get better results will update my review; for now, I'll have to give it an "OK" with 3 stars. Good price for the 24 tablet pack though.

Worked as expected with great results — easy to use, cleaned buildup, and left fresh scents in the sink/disposal. Easy “drop in and run” cleaning without scrubbing.

I was skeptical if this product would work or not but gave it a try. I'm pleasantly shocked these tablets worked great and took the smell away immediately. Excellent product!

I’ve tried several disposal cleaners and this is one of the few that genuinely made a difference. It’s cost-effective, easy to use, and keeps the sink area noticeably fresher. Just remember: this is not a clog remover, so don’t expect it to fix a blocked sink. What Works: - Cleans and deodorizes well — the disposal smells fresher right after use. - Great value for money, especially compared to smaller packs. Limitations: - The scent is very faint — pleasant, but not long-lasting. - You usually need 2 tablets at once for a solid result. - Calling it a “12-month supply” is misleading; using 2 tablets and cleaning more than once a month reduces that significantly. Conclusion: Strong performer for maintenance and odor control — just don’t expect a powerful scent or miracle unclogging. Still one of the best options in this price range.

I used 2 tablets in the first time as there was some clog from previous tenant. It went well. I am happy that the water goes way faster. Well instructions given at the back of package. Love to see that the metal in the sink tube shines again. No strong bad smell. Nice design and good product. The pack is not bulky in a big bottle or box. Good for storage in a tiny home.

I had high hopes for the Garbage Disposal Cleaner Deodorizer Tablets, especially with the promise of “powerful XL foaming action.” Unfortunately, the product didn’t live up to its claims. The tablets barely foamed, and even after multiple uses, there was no noticeable improvement in cleaning or odor removal. The scent was faint and didn’t last long, leaving my disposal smelling almost the same as before. Additionally, a few tablets didn’t fully dissolve, which made the sink area messy and required extra cleaning afterward — completely defeating the purpose of a “convenient cleaner.” Overall, I found the product ineffective and not worth the cost. That’s why I decided to return it. I hope the manufacturer improves the formula because, in its current state, it doesn’t deliver the results advertised.
