Its good but the middle bits fall of a little its easy to put back on.

I have gotten back into solving the cube from way back when I was a kid in the 80's and had one of the original cubes. I remember working on that old style cube so much that my wrists would hurt. I saw this cube on Prime Day and I figured "What the heck". What a difference from the original- smooth effortless turning, adjustable tension and a solid feel to it. I was able to get back to solving the cube without much effort- just trying to remember some of the old patterns that I used, and then finding better ones online. My buddy and his son are doing the same thing- learning to solve the cube - and when they felt this one they both remarked about how they needed to get their own 55Cube. Highly recommended.

Broke In Less Than 24 Hours
I really, really don't like writing negative reviews, but this is one of those occasions where I have to do so. I ordered this for my son because he is crazy over Speed Cubes and wanted one of his own. This one seemed like a decent choice, but after he received it, it lasted less than a day before it broke.Yeah, one of the small cubes popped off the thing and cannot be reattached. I mean, really, less than 24 hours? My son is 9 years old, didn't do anything except turn the thing almost non-stop for a day, and it breaks?Maybe, we just received a bad one, but just be warned of our problem with it.

Bad product and bad custmer service from amazon included
One of the cubes bulges out.... This happened when I mixed the cube up.... No contact for customer support... Contacted Amazon... They said just send it back and reorder it... But no mention to the fact it was bought on Amazon prime day... Which in my email I noted... and was on sale so now the sale price would not be honered.... Bad service all together from both sides. Not happy with the company making this product or Amazon. Essentially.... Keep it this way or return it and re buy it at a higher price.... Or not at all...

From a beginner's perspective, I really like this cube
I'm not a cuber but I really wanted to learn. This doesn't come many places with me, I just use it at home to practice on the internet. I haven't had any problems with breakage like the ones I'm seeing here, but I could have sworn the reviews for this model were much higher in July of 2016 when I originally purchased it. Maybe they're using cheaper materials now, but the one I have from this past summer works really well and is incredibly easy to manipulate, which is important for me. I love it!

Good for slick solvers with fast fingers and minds
Turns like it's greased - no sticking and fast to work. Slightly smaller than the Rubix, which is great for small hands. One thing - our child got a little too curious about how it worked. He pulled the individual cubes out to solve and reset it. In the process he broke one and so he's got one side with 8 pieces and a blank. Like Humpty Dumpty, sometimes the pieces don't go back together into the whole. Not at all the cube's fault and it's not like this is the only brand that would do that, but a reminder that curiosity / cube cheating doesn't pay.
