The media could not be loaded. I found these on Amazon they are £8 cheaper than the other ones I buy off here and it's a 10 kg box as the others are. Easy to light if you stand the upright in a chimney starter. They take about 30 minutes to fully turn grey. I use them on my Cypriot grill as they last for about 5 hours or more. I have used them on my offset smoker and they work brilliant. They are the best. I ordered two boxes and I will be ordering more. I use one full chimney starter for my Cypriot Foukou and one for my offset smoker with cherry wood chunks also bought off here. By the way the food is amazing and doesn't dry out, I am an ex head chef and started bbqing in the early 70s with my dad when I was a child, my passion has grew from there.

Perfect for Smoking!!!
I've noticed customer's saying they are hard to light. If you break them into smaller pieces and use a chimney then it's not an issue. You get clean smoke very quickly and they burn hot and long. We're limited to what charcoal we can buy in the UK, therefore these are a must buy.

Purchased these coals after becoming frustrated with the normal market place. A little research and price comparison. These coals are excellent al around, easy to get going, great heat and longevity. Highly recommended and worth that little bit extra compared to the normal garden centre/ locally available products.

Very disappointed!!
Bought these due to the claim they were easy to light & long lasting.VERY disappointed with the product!!!Not sure if they have been stored incorrectly before being sold, i.e damp conditions, but they took ages to light and when some of them did light I found the other 50% didn't.This happened on the three occasions that I have used them so far.Won't be buying them again, and won't recommend.

Very difficult to light!
Needs a huge amount of heat to get these going. After many attempts resorted to using alternative charcoal to bbq food. Disappointing, would not buy again.
