Thrilled Again! My Second Caroma Electric Scooter - Easy Assembly, Thoughtful Details!
Having been a happy Caroma electric scooter owner for the past two years, I didn't hesitate to purchase this new 15-mile, 560W version. While my original (and much-loved) 25-mile, 819W model is no longer available in my area due to local battery regulations, this new scooter has proven to be a fantastic option for my shorter commutes.Right out of the box, the experience was impressive. The scooter was exceptionally well-packaged, ensuring it arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze, made even simpler by the thoughtfully included tool – a small but significant detail that speaks volumes about the user experience. What I particularly appreciate about this new model are the user-centric improvements. The dedicated button for the front light is a fantastic safety feature, offering quick and easy illumination. Furthermore, the upgrade to LED indicators on the display is a game-changer. It’s remarkably clear and easy to read, even under direct sunlight, a definite advantage over my previous LCD screen. While the 15-mile range perfectly suits my typical 5-mile trips, the reduced battery capacity is something to consider if you require longer distances. However, for urban commutes and short errands, it performs admirably. My past experience with Caroma's customer service, though not lightning-fast (it took a few days for an email response), was ultimately positive. They effectively resolved my issue with my first scooter. Based on that experience, I'd recommend being as detailed as possible in your initial inquiry. Including your order number, a comprehensive description of the problem, and any relevant photos or videos can significantly expedite the resolution process.Overall, I'm delighted with my second Caroma Electric scooter. It retains the quality and ease of use I appreciated in my first, with smart, practical upgrades that enhance the riding experience. If you're looking for a reliable and well-designed scooter for shorter distances, this one is definitely worth considering!

Working well just slow charger!
It's a new version that doesn't have the same Throttle as the first generation that would stop turning on the scooter and I tried to get the first one working again with the seller sending me replacement parts and still wasn't turning on so I gave up and got a new one and this is it and haven't had any issues yet and the only thing that it doesn't do is show the mph like the first generation did but it shows the battery level and it looks like a gasoline reader 😀 so I tested it out a lot and got to go from one city to another one that was a little far away from me and the scooter didn't die on me and when I got there I plugged in the charger to fully charged and was able to make it back home 😀 the only thing that I would like for it is a fast charger for it because it can take 3 hours to fully charge it so you have to wait a while to get up to the battery life to fully charged and it would be great to have a quick charger for it!

Smooth and fun ride!!
I got this scooter because my husband has another scooter from this brand and we are pretty happy with that one. I liked the look and the basket that this one has. This one has more power and beats his uphill every time. It’s has air filled tires so it is a much smoother ride on our bumpy country road. The brakes are strong and better than his older style one. It’s really fun to ride and I’m glad I found it while it was on prime shipping. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that the screen mine came with is not the digital lcd screen shown in the pictures that some other people got. I do not have the 3 modes and I can’t see my speed. The only display is the battery level. That’s it. I was expecting what the others received but since the scooter itself is pretty awesome and I will mainly use it at the campground - I’m not too worried about it. Just a fair warning to others - I have seen some other reviews write of this too and from what I’ve seen - it does look to be the same scooter with this plain screen - the white 819.

Great scooter, even for larger people
I'm very impressed with this scooter. It says the weight limit is 300 lbs and I believe it. I'm 6'1", 220 lbs (235 dressed) and I fit on it just fine. I even went up the driveway and it didn't have any trouble. My daughter is 14 and my son is 12. They both fit on it perfectly well also. Here are some things I liked about it:- Simple to put together (around 20 minutes)- Smooth- Plenty of power even for larger-than-average people- Plenty fast enough to putt around the neighborhood- Disc brakes work well- Brake light, tail light, and front light- Cargo basket

Caroma cruise
Hello, L8NiteDonna here to give you my personal review. Upon opening and setting up I found all items.Locating tool kit was not and should be the 1st to see.I had no problems assembling. Unfortunately you must charge before you can reap your rewards.Once it was time to cruise I found it easy to control and balance. My only pet peeve(and its not that bad) was the acceleration handle.between thumb and finger got sore(make sure to remove your rings). I solved that by wearing a glove. Had a long cruise and the Caroma was a good ride.Overall I recommend this item👍👍🎗
