Fantastic piece of kit! Very, very easy to use. Straight forward instructions. Works perfectly. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend this detector to anyone who uses gas appliances in their home. Also fantastic on site as a safety measure when working near gas.

Thought I could smell gas in one of our rooms, ordered this detector and yup, it picked up the leak from a gas pipe in the room and confirmed my suspicions, gas was turned off and leak fixed by a gas engineer, hopefully I won't need it again in the future but excellent tool to have around just in case.

Works very well. it is very sensitive and will find the smallest of leaks. downside is that it is fragile. a knock will turn it off and when it is in ones pocket the buttons will compress and turn on the detector.

The media could not be loaded. It takes the device around 20-30 seconds to warm up, after which there is a beep to tell you the device is ready. Tested it on the gas hob to make sure it was working. Then used it on a pipe that I believed was leaking has and this device confirmed the leak. The device made loud continuous beeping and the LED screen turned red.It's small in size and appears to be accurate. It comes with a handy carry pouch (be sure to check the bottom of the box), and two AAA Duracell batteries. I think device is good value for money, and good if you want some reassurance on gas leaks.

The media could not be loaded. I thought I could intermittently smell gas around my outbuilding. I bought this tool to see if I could find a leak, or to put my mind at rest. Bingo. There's the leak. Gas off and Engineer is on the job. An inexpensive tool, but a very good one.

Recently had a smelly of gas in the house and was obviously a bit concerned so bought this. It arrived the next day and I could see it was a quality bit of kit as soon as unpacked it. It was simple to set up too. I tested the area where I had smelt gas the day before and was relieved to see that there was no leak. I was impressed with the accuracy of this as I'd tested it with lighter gas and the oven before using it properly. I am very impressed with it

This gas detector seems to work well.I have tested it several times by holding it against a closed gas canister and it doesn’t signal and then very slightly opened the valve and it instantly detects the gas.You do have to ensure you calibrate it each time by holding it in a known clear air source so that it works correctly.

After thinking we hood smell gas in the cupboard under the stairs on occasion I thought I would check it out before calling the experts who are all to eager to cut the supply off. I first checked all the joints with a leak detector spray around the supply/ meter and after including under the floor. Everything looked fine but to be absolutely sure, I purchased this product, tested it on a unlit gas hob after a quick on/off it proved very sensitive. I checked all my gas joints with it and am satisfied there are no leaks. Haven’t smelled gas since.
