Good heavy duty steel hinges
Very good steel hinges. Welded up nicely where we replaced metal gate hinges that had broken or rusted out on the backyard fence. In fact they worked so good I ordered another 4 to finish up the remaining gates. My grandson, the welder, had no problems, remarked how good the steel was. The gap spacing worked out well as it seemed a good fit for the opening. Recommend to give them a try should you have a need.

I ordered these 3” Heavy Duty Weldable Hinges—Book Hinge—Weld-On Hinges through the VINE program. I was waiting to use them on a project I finally finished. The hinges are easy to weld and work great on my gate. The heavy-duty hinges provide a smooth motion for my gate and easily support the weight of my metal gate.

Very Heavy Duty
Nice heavy duty hinges that work fantastic to make any hinged welding project a win. They hinge as expected. Better used with heavier gauge metal- not doing to work well with thin metal that will give before these hinges. Recommend for your next welding project that needs hinges.

HEAVY DUTY!
my neighor has a sea container that he wanted to add a door to. i volunteered these hinges. the door was heavy plate steel with a steel border. we Mig welded these hinges to the door first. then got the very heavy door in plave and welded the hinges to the container. instant door and when we removed the door supports there was no sag from the hinges. the door moves smoothly. good product for the job.

Great hinges for the price!
Four hinges for $20. That's $5 a hinge. They measured about 2.990" long ways on each plate and at the hinge pin they were 3.12" The plate is 3mm thick or just a hair thinner than 1/8". All four were free moving with a bit of slop so as not to bind up. Slight bit of dry residue but no oil or gunk. They are going get dirty from welding/grinding/fabrication so no worries there. Great value for what you are getting.
