I was specifically looking for an alarm clock that I didn't need to plug in, could travel with, and was nice and loud (because I can sleep through anything and was consistently sleeping through all other alarm clocks I tried). This one does the trick. I do have it on the higher sound (the low was too low to wake me), but it definitely wakes me up. The one thing I still struggle with (with any alarm clock) is turning it off and going back to bed and then not remembering that I shut it off later. So, even though it does wake me up, I still have to put it out of reach so that by the time I'm able to turn it off, I'm truly fully awake and not still in a half-sleep state. I also like that in addition to the regular snooze button, there is a second back up alarm setting. I am extremely pleased with this alarm clock.

I bought this as a travel alarm, but after my power went out, I may use it regularly. I bought this because it looked light weight and I needed a battery operated clock to take on a trip. After I received it, I put batteries in it, set the time and alarm just to see how it was done (I didn't use the instruction manual, it was pretty easy to figure out). I put it on my night stand with the alarm set to ensure it would wake me. The alarm was loud enough to wake me, which was probably a good thing as we lost power sometime during the night and my AC powered clock was blinking. Lucky me. I'd recommend this clock. It was bright, but not annoyingly bright and there are two loudness settings for the alarm which is nice.

I love this little travel alarm, especially the fact I can set the alarm for two different times. I am going to buy one or two more for the house. The alarm is loud enough for me on low, I can hear it over the AC so I will never miss my flight. My old alarm was not loud enough to hear over a fan.

Loved the size of the read out and the red color of the read out doesn’t make the room bright while sleeping. Very easy to set. Wonderful that it works only on batteries, no electric cord to contend with

Just what I have been looking for - a battery operated, no frills bedroom clock. It was very easy to set up, has a dimmable, easy to read, red display ( it does dim at night, but if it could be completely dimmed except to be read, that would be perfect).

Item came with defective LED digits so couldn’t see the time correctly. Also alarm was PIERCING and way too loud, would wake the dead or give us a heart attack! Otherwise, nice display, display size and brightness. Unit fit well on dresser and could be seen from across room easily.

I love the clock, however, the alarm is not loud enough for me, ordered another one that blinks and is very loud, am using both now.

I had only one small problem with the clock......when I first got it, setting the alarm would cause the numerals on the clock face to flicker every few seconds, back and forth and up and down. However, it seems to have corrected itself and is performing as advertised and is a good product, easy to read in the dark and the alarm is just right........loud enough to awaken you without jolting you out of bed.
