This was my first quilting book and I just purchased a copy for my niece! The pictures and instructions are easy to follow. Great for making baby blankets for friends!

This is an EXCELLENT beginner's book for learning to quilt. There are 4 different patterns for quilts to make and they are easy to do. I like the photos which are in full color because they help in guiding you through what you need to do. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn to quilt. It is an easy read as well.

Best beginner book ever!! I've made the single patch and 4 block patch quilt already. I had no idea what I was doing at all not even how to sew a straight line. This book taught me every thing in easy to understand steps. Highly recommended.

Easy to read

I liked almost everything since I had never quilted anything. Picked out the easiest quilt instructions and off I went. I confused myself figuring out how many 6 1/2 squares I needed and added an extra row because I forgot abt the 2" border so the quilt turned out a little wider but still nice. For me, a beginner quilter who has never seen a handmade quilt, but a good home sewer, book was great with clear instructions. Now I'm making table runners!

I hadn’t made a quilt for almost 20 years before I got this book, but with Covid I had some extra time and wanted to get back to it. This book was so easy to follow and I learned more than I ever knew before. Of course my first couple tries weren’t perfect, but they were good enough to use as floor covers for baby to lie on. And my 3rd was much better, good enough to send off for quilting and binding. I didn’t think something like quilting could be learned from a book, but I was wrong!!

Good book. But if you buy this one don't get the second one or vice versa. They are exactly the same.

This book takes you through the basics and assumes you don't know anything about quilting. If your looking for a how to quilt book and are a true beginner, this is the book for you.

It reads so well and just want i ordered

My native language is Spanish, I am learning English , but I understand everything in this book and make my first quilt. Whit that said all. Awesome.
