Keeps fish alive for a long time
I have recently did a test to see how long I can keep some surplus minnows alive in my garage in a 2-1/2 gallon insulated bait bucket. I had 14 large minnows for over a week now and none have died. I have aeration going all the time, add some frozen gel packs to keep the water cool and do water changes regularly with treated water. I’m surprised at how healthy the fish are.

I was skeptical at first but then bought it just to give it a whirl and was surprised at how long our minnows stayed alive after using it the first couple of times. I kept a batch of fat heads alive for 2 weeks using this when usually threw them out after a couple of days well worth the money

Bait fish love this. Easy to measure amount you need. Keeps water clean and fish happy. Fish seem to thrive better after product is used.

It works
Never used the product before. I grabbed it for this season of ice fishing. I can say it works very well. I've kept shinners 10 days by using this before I could get back out several times this winter. I use a 5 gallon pale home depot ot drywall pale with an aerator running and add this to it. I change water every few days the only time I lost shinners was when it was in the single digits or below zero. I keep them.in my garage and it's not heated so some smaller ones died but there was a thin layer of ice on top. I've even added a little more than suggested and have had no problems

Knack kills
Knack kills with in an hour all baitfish were dead. Added 1/2 tablespoon to 2 gallons of water, fish started thrashing around and gulping air then went belly up in 45 minutes. Ruined a big fishing trip I was planning on.

Would not recommend
Did not work as well as they advertised, minnows died minutes after putting this in about the same amount of time without it, so it does not help, bought a aerator which works great.
