I wish I had owned this light a long time ago! I was so bummed when my cat knocked my small halogen spotlight lamp off my desk and broke it, but now I owe my cat a thank you because she's the reason I had to buy a new light. The Micomlan Architect Desk Lamp gives such wonderful lighting across a wide area of my workspace. The variety of brightness levels and color temperatures are a big benefit, giving me options depending on time of day and the type of work being done. I like that it takes just a light touch to turn the light on, make adjustments and turn it off. I specifically wanted a free-standing lamp instead of a clip-on for easy relocation to my puzzle table. The stand gives the lamp stability meaning my cat won't be knocking this light off the table.

This is a great lamp. A great price for this product. Love the different light settings for color and brightness. I have it with the base and also one with the clamp. My mother and sister both have one. We love them for our quilting/craft rooms, by our sewing machines. Would purchase again and again! Easy to assemble.

This is such a great light. What I like best is you can have lights angled up towards the ceiling to light up your room at the same time as the lights that shine down on your desk , or you can turn those pieces down and extend the arms wider for more light on your desk . There’s two different power buttons for the top and bottom lights so you can have them on at the same time or just one or the other. I noticed the lights get very warm to the touch and give off heat the brighter you turn the lights up. When it’s on the 1st & 2nd dimmer light option it’s lukewarm but 3rd, 4th & 5th choice it’s pretty warm almost hot. The plug was really warm as well so not sure about that. I love you can choose the cooler vs warmer toned lights and dim to very bright lights. It really gives off a lot of light and can aim it where you need it . The base is heavy and sturdy as well. The buttons are easy to use you just touch them. The cord length is long enough as well not too short. The price feels a little high compared to other similar desk lamps but this is very good quality and love all the options so was worth it to me.

This very tall, very versatile lamp is great lighting for a desk or hobby table. I bought two sit behind our desktop computer screens. The joints can move to just about any angle and the light control options are easy to operate and provide many settings for lighting to your liking. Set up was easy as well, with just two screws. The cute screwdriver supplied makes it easy to assemble. Directions almost not needed. Would recommend this lamp although a charging port in the base would be nice.

Love this light. The weighted base makes it very stable on my adjustable standing desk. The light itself it easily adjusted - both in brightness, light shade and direction. The tap to operate controls work smoothly.

I ordered this for better lighting for miniature painting as well as lighting up my desk area. It is a light lamp and has a heavy base, I incorrectly ordered this instead of the mounting one to gain desk space, which is a small foot print so not terrible. The simple minimalist look is sleek and contemporary meeting almost any desk or setup universally. The lamp feels sturdy and solid but you can tell the material is not all metal but some pressed plastic or much cheaper thin alloy material which is non-magnetic, maybe thin aluminum. The buttons are touch sensors not actual clicky buttons so that could put some folks off but non-issue for me. The lighting has color adjustments so you can light to you preference whether warm, cool, or cold and even has an automatic brightness and stepping feature built in. Honestly I though the brightness feature was a gimmick however using it as a back light in my office has improved my eye comfort from long periods at the computer for work. While the lamp is very easy to adjust and stays in place when moved the information presented makes it seem like the lamp head would rotate 180º which it does just not in the direction expected, meaning the lamp must always be parallel to the surface it is placed on no exceptions. I dinged it a star because of this as the image shown seems to be a bit misleading whether intentional or not. It uses a power adapter with barrel socket to the lamp so is not portable and does not charge, has no remote though there are auto stepping and brightness features you must manually activate the lamp.

This replaced a normal living room lamp used for many tasks, from reading to cleaning to eating while watching television. The reason I like this lamp so much is its flexibility. 1) the light is adjustable for warmth, 2) the lamp leds are in 3 sections controlled by a touch, so the larger middle section of leds can be turned on or off just by reaching up and touching an area near them, 3) the main body post and arms have joints so you can move parts of the body around to shine each of the 3 led grouping wherever you want in different directions = ceiling mood light: check, bright work lights: check, mixture: check. The lamp is also sturdilly made and has a heavy base so it doesn't tip over as you move the arms and body post. This is marketed as an architects light, but I think it is the best household lamp I've ever had.

The lamp is very bright and perfect for craft work. The arms of the lamp are fully adjustable to shed light at the right spot. The combination of an overhead main light and accessory light source on either side is pleasing to the eyes.

I have had two desk lamps prior to this that were a lot cheaper , but neither of them came near the quality of this one. I mainly use the two side lamps when drawing and the lumination on my workbench is first class with no hand shadow. It even creates a great lighting set up for photographing my finished artwork

This lamp is a game changer!!! No more straining my eyes. A multitude of ways to adjust the direction of light. Different types of lighting options cool, light warm light & more. I contemplated my purchase for quite sometime, the only regret I have is not purchasing this lamp sooner. Don’t wait just buy it!! You’ll thank me.
