HIC KitchenOval Baking Broiling Roasting Racks, Chrome Plated Steel Wire

Love this folding rack I like things well done and this works for me it is non stick and cleans well.

I recently acquired a 4QT Nesco roaster, but it did not have the original baking rack, nor does the manufacturer sell it as a replacement part (they no longer make this small model). I checked dollar stores and other retailers, no one had a rectangular rack small enough. This HIC 10"x6" rack is a perfect fit (see pic). While I would prefer to have one that is a full rectangle, the octagonal shape of this one does span enough of the cooking chamber and it works well. It's a fairly heavy weight metal so should last a long time. It will also make a good cooling rack for baked goods. Overall, I'm very happy with this item.

A desire to cook a better Christmas goose, I ordered this roasting rack. It arrived today (Christmas eve) and was immediately loaded with our 10.5 lb Christmas goose. The rack is very sturdy and confidence inspiring. Much better than the flimsy collapsible roasting rack I have used in the past. The goose cooked perfectly. Indeed, tonight's was the best Christmas Goose I've ever produced. I attribute much of this success to the rack. It is tall enough to keep the goose well clear of its copious drippings and still fit easily in my roaster. The handles each end made removing the cooked from the roaster an easy secure maneuver.The rack cleaned up easily. The nonstick coating does its job well. However, while hand-washing the rack (per manufacturer recommendation), I noticed spots where the non-stick coating appeared to have come off. I didn't expect this after one use. Hence, my 4 stars rating; this gives me reason to be nervous about the long-term durability of the rack's non-stick coating. The rack it self, I'm confident is sturdy enough to stand -- with strength in reserve -- a 20 lb turkey. I look forward that test.

Perfect this is what I wanted. Great value for the money. It will fit my slow cooker perfectly. Really thick and sturdy. Cleans great and no chipping or warping. Much larger than I thought.

Maybe I read it wrong but it is very tiny and light weight but you get what you pay for. It works so I guess that's all that matters.

Didn't want to fork out $50+ bucks for a roaster pan and rack so I got me a tin foil pan I can toss when done and a rack that was in my eyes cheap -This thing is SUPER strong and EXTREMELY well made....Not 304 (or better) stainless steel but its perfect for the cost and I Very Highl Doubt it will fail for MANY years....I do birds at least every couple months (what can I say -- Love cold turkey Sandwich!!!)...Usually I smoke my birds but I don't feel like the hassle this year I got rid of my old smoker and just haven't the time to set up and test the new one even though I got it cause it has proven to be better than what I had - old one was small and I needed to update - Won't mention what brand I got but this rack will also work with it....Perfectly!!!Two Thumbs Up -- Highly Recommend Buy One!!
