Amazing phone cage, very bulky and purpose built, not good as a phone case, but as a recording rig? The best I have used. All the attachments worked perfectly, although the remote shutter button did die almost immediately, it only worked for a few clicks before the battery in it died. Over all I would recommend this Kit for everyone pro and amateur. And as always, hone your skills, better equipment ≠ better content

It’s a great product, I only wish I would have chose the Brandon Lee product because it is a way better value for your money. Still an overall great product. I do have one suggestion if the small-rig team is listening… please provide more product information—I’d like to get an additional lens or two but don’t want to buy something obsolete. If they provided better documentation I’d be forever Thankful!

Love the fit and function. I have 2 minor issues. 1. if you are shooting in low light, it's very easy to hit the case release button instead of the "camera off" button. This causes the left handle to fall open and if you have anything connected to the cold shoe on the left handle, such as a wireless mic receiver or a light, it can get damaged. 2. It would be great if the handles came pre-assembled with the screws and release latch installed. If you have large hands/fingers, it's a bit of a hassle to assemble.

This cage is great and can remain in your pocket with the phone in it. I like most things about this, with the quick release handles and ease of putting the phone in. But I had to change the plate to a 17mm plate, this was not the best experience. One very difficult to get the screw out, it was like it was machine glued in. Then second when I got the additional purchase of the 17mm plate screwed in, it’s kind of not flush but pops up a bit, so it then cause’s vignettes from the lenses. I’ve compared with another company and there is no vignettes with their cage. So kind of a deal breaker with that in regards to using it with external lenses. I guess if you didn’t have to remove the original plate it might be fine, but I tested with other lenses, not moment ones.

Great for youtube videos. I use it to mount on tripod and mount my smallrig pod light and external memory plenty of functionality. Its design is sturdy and lined to not scratch your phone.
