You will need to cut a slot in the tag to use both the tag and the cover.
I bought the ON/Off with Safety Cover version of the switch. In order to install both the safety cover and the ON/Off metal tag, you must cut a slot into the tag in order to allow it to fit so that it is visible. The switches seem fine, but did not work in my application. This is an SPST switch. I needed a DPST switch.

These are the neatest switches ever they’re very easy to install and they’re durable. I had to install a start button on my son‘s right on tank and it looks so cool cause it looks like he’s dropping a bomb somewhere the universal which size of it and everything fits perfectly

J'ai été conquis par le style de ces interrupteurs, j'avais besoin d'avoir des interrupteurs pour un projet de boîte de contrôle et j'avoue avoir été séduit par ceux-ci Le fait que ce soit des interrupteurs on/off avec clapet qui permet une extinction rapide est fort agréable L'installation est rapide et ils tiennent bien Attention cependant, si vous mettez le clapet sur l'interrupteur vous ne verrez pas l'etiquettes on/off donc veillez bien à mettre l'interrupteur dans le bon sens
