Solidly built and cleverly designed construction. Very sturdy and does hold 5 pounds. Shipped fast. Makes all others I have bought look like amateurs. Love that the bottom panel slides out for easy soap removal and that glass cover slides into the top to watch your soap cure and avoid any dirt or debris getting into the soap.

These molds are awesome! They are both tall and wide. You can slice any soap pattern any way you want. These are made well and I can't wait to use them. Even the cutters that are included are bigger, stronger and sharper than all the others I've used. I wish I'd seen these before I spent so much on every other mold out there. They are a bargain at this price.

This mold is one of the best I have purchased so far! Very high quality, removal from wooden frame is easy and it comes loose from soap easily also. Size is large I ordered it for a specific soap I was making, so bars are huge. But you could also use a log cutter and cut bars smaller so it adds to functionality. I've already ordered another one!

I love this soap mold. This mold holds a lot of soap. I made my cold-process soap yesterday and I was able to unmold it 12 hours later. The glass cover allows you to check on your soap and also prevents soda ash. The soap came out of the mold without trying to force it out. I will be buying more. this wasn't actually a bad purchase, just not what I expected and that could partially be my fault, the dimensions of the mold are provided to buyer. BUT! Pros: the mold is well made, its sturdy, it comes with a removable bottom so you can get the inner part of the mold out of the box; it also comes with a glass cover which may or may not be beneficial. Cons: if you fill the mold, its HEAVY. So it takes some doing to get the soap out of the silicone part of the mold without damaging it. It actually took me about twenty minutes and a lot of prayer. Also, I like an old fashioned cake of soap that's kinda thick and fits well in your hand. about 5.5 to 6.0 ounces is, in my opinon, a nice size bar of soap; but 5.5 to 6.0 ounces of soap from this soap mold is THINNER than the cake of soap that I like and that for me is a deal breaker. This is a mold I'm not likely to use again because if I cut a 6.5 or 7.0 ounce bar of soap its unwieldy. Just too much. The average user will get tired of it (espcially if its scented) and reach for something else after a week or so. Overall: the soap mold is awesome! its well made, has all the bells and whistles that would be nice to find in other molds, but even with that being said, the mold doesn't have the right dimensions. For me anyway.

So I finally got to use this mold and I can say it is a horse! I'm loving the glass that slides over the top so I can look at the soap without exposing to air and allowing the heat to stay in. The number of bars really determines in how you want to cut it. I was able to cut and get large bars, small bars, and travel bars but you can certainly cut for tall skinny or cut three layers of reg rectangle bars. Use your imagination or just go with it like it did. Tip for removing the mold, lay on its side to slide the bottom out and the mold slides out super easy! 100% recommend!

Every soap maker needs this soap mold! If I could give it a 10 star review I would! The sellers were amazing with great customer service and this product is very sturdy and makes the perfect bar of soap!

The silicone liners are good, but the wood boxes are garbage. Only used these one time, and already both boxes are cracked on the ends!
