I originally bought the 18 inch to hold my butterfly charm and found it works out perfectly! It looks like the real deal and is very sturdy and easy to clasp and unclasp. I liked it so much I bought the 20 inch. Love them both. Will give an update to see how the shine holds up.

I bought this chain to hold a gold cross pendent. I received a nice cross necklace as a gift but I prefer a longer chain length.So I decided to go with this chain to hold the cross pendent. It's a very nice and sturdy piece. It looks good and is authentic. My complaint is related to the clasp/locking mechanism.While wearing the cross and this chain, while I was moving around doing stuff, I noticed my pendent was missing. Luckily I found it a day later, but after reinstalling the cross to the chain with the clasp, I found that the clasp has a marginal gap. It's not significant but some pendents, like mine, will slip out.It may not be the point of this chain, as the gap isn't big enough to have the chain slip through itself, however I think the clasp should be more precise with a smaller gap, considering the chain's purpose seems to be advertised in a way that it has the ability to hold jewelry.I hope this review was constructive in a way where this concern is addressed. Besides the clasp, the quality is high, and the price is right

This chain came out of the packaging already looking a little tarnished, not a bright, shiny silver tone. After a few usages, it looked more tarnished and smells very metallic. The metallic smell has only gotten worse so my skin smells like metal when I wear it. After less than a month of use it’s a throwaway
