Versatile, sturdy and comfortable.
I use this for semi precious gemstone mining specifically chalcedony. There is a lot of digging and prying and scratching involved this pick is ideal for that. incredibly sturdy and exactly the right size to also use in small tunnels. Considering the gemstones this pick has helped me dig out and the quality of the tool I think the price is good. Since i can work with it all day without tiring i consider it to be very light and the grip fits my hand very well.

Just what I needed
Lost my old estwing rock hammer and found this while searching for a new one. There’s only one thing to know…. If you by any estwing anything it’s gonna last forever. I have my 96 year old father’s estwing claw framing hammer from the ‘40s. If it’s not stolen or you lose it you’ll have it forever.

Well balanced. Has been put to the hard rock smash n pick lots of times and the point and chisel ends are holding up perfectlyThe magnet is still in place and works well.Rubberized handle is awesome and helps reduce shock to my hand and wrist.
