Putty Colour-Correcting Eye Brightener, Under-eye Brightener & Primer For Reducing Appearance Of Dark Circles, Vegan & Cruelty-free, Light/Medium

I am 43 year old Mum of 3 who doesn't know a lot about make up and applying it. As I am getting older and with this cold weather we are having, I wanted to find something that could perk up the eye area and help cover the dark circles and some uneven skin and age spots. I was looking for something that I could apply as a base for concealer but also that could be used to brighten up my eyes if not wearing any make up. I like the texture of this product and how it moisturises the skin around the eyes. It cover the dark circles and I would say it doesn't get stuck in my fine lines and wrinkles. It is easy to apply and looks good by the end of the day. I feel it blends well and is effective.

I bought the “fair” colour and it covered my dark circles perfectly, just a tiny amount applied with a makeup sponge or a fingertip worked well. The deduction of one star is only to reflect my disappointment in discovering I’m violently allergic to this product! After roughly 3 weeks of use, my under-eye area swelled up and looked like the skin was burnt. Stopped using it immediately and the redness and swelling subsided after 3-4 days. Tried the product again yesterday (after a break of 3 weeks) just to be sure, and woke up with “burnt” under-eyes again this morning. I’m so sad, because I love elf products!!

This stuff is fantastic!!! I have always struggled with dark under eyes. Have tried lots of different colour correctors previously, but they end up leaving my eyes cakey and dry, emphasising the area. This stuff is magic, it smoothes on effortlessly and feels more like a moisturiser. It covers the dark circles near enough fully without concealer. Would definitely recommend.

I think of all under eye concealers I've tried over the years (at 51that is a few) it's the best. Melts beautifully on and conceals well. Even pricier ones have not been this effective.

Only giving this 4 stars but that might change as I become more adept at applying. Quite a small pot however you don’t need a lot of product to achieve its purpose. It’s quite greasy - it doesn’t absolve into your skin but rather it sits on the surface. However, it definitely does what it purports to do - it colour corrects. I was a little bit worried it would interfere with my mascara’s ability to adhere to my bottom lashes but it was fine. Definitely a ‘keeoer’, I just need to work on my application skills.

Bought this by mistake but it's nice. Don't know how well it works to be totally honesty but I do use it still. Probably wouldn't repurchase it if I am totally honest
