Didn't want this for a lifting strap. I was looking for a strap to throw in my side by side to use as a small tow strap and a strap to wrap around a tree to hook my wench to to help get me out of the mud. I actually had to use it yesterday when I got mired. Wrapped it around a medium size tree, about 10" on the butt. Hooked my wench to the 2 loops and had no problem getting out. I also tried it out towing one of my buddies out a road and did the job. Just know this is not the intended use for this strap so don't go back on the dealer if yours doesn't hold up. Also my machine is fairly small an just a tad over 3000lbs. The one I towed was a bit bigger, being a 700 Pioneer, but was only towing it not pulling it out of a hole or mud.

Used to raise the ac so I could pour concrete without disconnecting it. Worked great. Paid for themselves the first use. Very heavy duty.

The sling is made of some type of synthetic material which is flexible yet very strong. The description says polyester which appears fully accurate. The lifting ends are appropriately sewn and reinforced to put a hook or other fastener to the ends. The manufacturer states that this item is manufactured in Ukraine. The quality of the material, stitching, reinforcements are of the highest quality and I expect to get years of safe use of this sling.

Using as part of my system to hold a heavy bag from my garage ceiling. This is a very strong sling. Recommend!
