High quality kiln vent does the job well. all parts well designed and fabricated If you need a kiln vent get this one.

This was a replacement for what I had. The motor on my old one burnt out. The price was reasonable and shipment was fast.

Fan housing and hose leaks fumes
Fumigated an indoor space after installing this ventilation system on a small kiln. Discovered that the fan housing has significant gaps between the two halves. Ended up having to buy an airtight plastic container and cutting holes in it for the input and output tubes to contain the fumes leaking from fan. Even after doing this, fumes could be smelled emanating from around the fan/box. Suspected that fumes were permeating through input 2in tubing. Replaced the 2in tubing with high-temperature 2-ply silicone tubing (used for brake cooling on race cars) and fumes were finally under control during firings.

This is the cheapest, by far, that I could find online. It works great and assembly is very easy. Fast shipping, very pleased.

Buy for $20 cheap plastic and motor from china and selling for $400. Not worth the price.
Don't buy this product, cheap made and not worth the investment. Does not extract all the fumes from a KM1227 kiln.
