I was skeptical of this speaker at this price. But my skepticism went away quickly. I use one single speaker right below my monitor in the center and it works great. It puts out more than enough sound, with good clarity.It truly was plug and Play. It was set up and all of 30 seconds.This is a good purchase. If you're looking for something simple for your computer that does not have the speakers installed.

Great, inexpensive little speaker!

I recently had to purchase a new PC, replacing an AIO PC. So, I was on a tight budget and purchased everything separately. Needless to say the built-in speaker for the new monitor was quite awful, I picked this little thing up not expecting much. I am actually very pleased with the sound and volume of this speaker 🔊 . It is fairly small so it doesn't clutter up the desk space. It's not a BOSE, but the sound is surprisingly good and right in my budget. I am hoping to get many years of use. Definitely recommend.

I can confirm that this speaker works fine on my vintage Apple G4 Cube computer I purchased recently, that didn’t come with the factory speakers. The Cube was released in 2000, so it’s almost 25 years old. It is one of the few Apple computers that doesn’t have an internal speaker. The original round translucent Pro speakers with the required special external amplifier that came with the Cube are virtually impossible to find in good condition now. So I tried using this little USB speaker because it says that it works with MacOS. The Cube has two USB ports, so I connected an old Apple keyboard that has USB ports on its top corners to one of the Cube’s USB ports, then connected an Apple mouse to one of the keyboard’s USB ports, then connected this speaker directly to the remaining USB port on the Cube. I can confirm that this speaker worked properly using MacOS 10.4.11 Tiger on the Cube. The sound quality of course isn’t as robust as the Apple Pro speakers, but it’s good enough to allow me to enjoy using the Cube for retro computing. The build quality, cord length, etc., is very good, especially considering the low price of this speaker. I imagine that it will sound fine on modern devices if you’re looking for an inexpensive little speaker.I would like to suggest to the builders of this speaker to consider selling a connected pair, for stereo sound.—JM 11/9/2024

I'm a largely work from home computer programmer that has to deal with a lot of online meetings. I have a couple of work laptops that I use, and I was using my nice computer soundbar just for meetings. I decided to move it back to my personal system, and got this little speaker for the meetings.I've only used it a couple of times, but it's clear sounding and with good volume; takes up little desk space, and looks kind of cool. The single USB connector means (unlike my soundbar) I have only the one thing to plug in, which cuts down on the wires.Make no mistake, this is no audiophile speaker for jamming to music - it's a mono desktop speaker, mainly great for meetings, which is what I needed.I support the Online COLA, so for anyone interested the country of origin is China.
