Sounds nice on my doors. I purchased two. The quality is decent. The appearance is ideal if you are looking for worn look. I think the value for the amount is justified.

This is just great, especially for the price. Hung it on the newel post with thick green velvet ribbon for the holidays.

I really love these rustic bells. They look like antiques. They have a distressed look but the metallic gold finish has a lovely soft glow. They are working bells, not just decorative, with simple wooden clappers that give the bells a soft, gentle sound. I paired them with my faux Norfolk pine garland on my mantle for Christmas, and it turned out just how I hoped it would, with the golden bells contrasting against the green pine and also contrasting against my white walls and white fireplace. Now I just need to get some white stockings for next Cristmas, The bells are connnected to a long hemp rope so you can hang them anywhere, for example from a wreath on your front door, or on a tree branch as wind chimes, though I am keeping mine indoors to preserve the gold metallic finish, since I am not sure how it will hold up in the sun and rain.Overall, I am very pleased with these bells. They are rustic, on trend and very pretty, with a calm gentle sound. I will find a variety of uses for them all year round, not just at Christmas.

These bells are marketed as “Christmas” bells, but you could display them any time of year. I just slid them under my red berry wreath for a photo, and they seem to work aesthetically there. (Note that one bell is hidden behind the wreath; there really are four bells). The bells are a thin sort of metal, tin?— and the clappers are wooden. So the bells do not chime so much as they give a quiet non-resonant bong sound. The hanging rope is hemp-ish, soft but homespun. All in all, a charming bohemian accent.

The actual bells are larger than I thought, which is great! It looks so nice and elegant. I tied them near my stockings on the mantle and got a lot of compliments when guests came over. The decor is very sturdy and durable and does not look cheap at all. Very worth and would highly recommend!

I unwrapped the first few layers, then resorted to using scissors. Note: Be careful if you go this route, so as not to cut the rope, which may be hard to see.The bells appear to be handmade. Each bell is unique. They're wonderfully imperfect. I'm not sure what material they're crafted from. The clappers are made of wood and the bells are strung together with rope. When moved, they produce a lovely cascade of melodic sounds (which can be heard in the accompanying video).I'm very pleased with this sonorous set of bells. Mine are presently hanging outside under an eave, so that the wind will result in their chiming. I may bring them in, as I'm not sure how they'll fare in the elements. Should my experience with them change in the future, I'll update the review.

These large Brass Bells have great tone to them and are well made, the only issue with them is that the rope chosen is too heavy to give them breeze movement unless there is a storm blowing which we would be indoors during the sound that they would emit .I love the appearance of them and will restring them with a lighter weight jute rope because I like them a lotGreat Brass and design
