Great One-Handed Sling Option for Stroke Recovery – Supportive and Easy to Use
I purchased this sling for a patient recovering from a stroke that left his right arm paralyzed. We needed something that could be applied one-handed, provided solid support, and helped reduce shoulder pain due to subluxation — and this sling has delivered on all fronts. At first glance, it might seem a little complex, but with a bit of practice, my patient was able to put it on independently using his non-affected hand. That alone makes it a great option for people with limited mobility or hemiplegia. The sling comes with a helpful instructional video that demonstrates three different ways to wear it depending on the user’s needs and comfort. That was a big plus, especially for someone who may not have a caregiver available at all times. In terms of function, it provides excellent shoulder joint support and helps prevent that painful pulling sensation caused by arm weight and poor positioning. The material is lightweight, breathable, and comfortable enough for extended wear. Pros: ✔️ One-handed application possible with practice ✔️ Instructional video is clear and useful ✔️ Excellent support for shoulder subluxation ✔️ Comfortable and adjustable for various body types ✔️ Great for stroke patients with arm paralysis Highly recommend this sling for anyone recovering from a stroke or dealing with upper extremity paralysis. It’s well thought out and truly functional.

Great option for letting arm breath
Well made product which sits comfortably around the neck. The attachments at the arm do migrate.

Daughter approved!
Daughter broke her humerus 4 weeks ago. We just got this because she’s starting to be able to move a lil more. She loves it! She can put it on herself…now that I figured out how to use the Y Velcro piece. That was a lil puzzle. N directions r pointless..except for the pictures! Ha! Strap is soft and thick. She’s been wearing it a week n hasn’t complained once.

Scratchy Fasteners
Sling is versatile. It can be worn in different ways and fastener can be hooked to sling at various points. The sling material is comfortable. The problem is the outside of the fasteners are very scratchy, and very irritating to the skin. The outside of the fastener should be covered in a soft material. This would make it a five star product.

So much better than a "real" sling
I tried every sling after my rib and shoulder injury, before and after surgery, in hot and cold weather ... and it would be foolish not to add this to your repertoire. At several times, I required a more stabilizing sling, but when requirements were more lax, this thing beat them all for comfort and flexibility. In the cold, it's easy to take it on and off and adjust it for use over heavy clothing, or when stripping heavy clothing. In the heat, it naturally "breathes" and allows airflow where it doesn't usually flow with traditional slings. Removes uncomfortable friction created with traditional slings. Now, during months of shoulder recovery, I always wear it during walks or long periods standing, and frequently wear it at all other times when my shoulder gets tired of supporting my arm. Most other times, I have it in my purse just in case. I adjust frequently and so far the velcro has held up well. It's soft around the neck and arm holds. This is a must have.

Lightweight, comfortable sling for moderate support
This sling is fantastic. It is lightweight, easy to use and although I was skeptical about the design/support, it has been fantastic. The sling is easy to fit, and is comfortable on the neck and arm. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries and have used multiple slings, and this one has been the best. My most recent recovery was for a separated AC joint which actually didn't require use of a sling, so I wanted something minimal for comfort. I would not recommend for a more serious recovery like rotator cuff or any recovery that requires full immobilization, though.

Good little sling
A little tricky to figure out but works well. After shoulder surgery and out of the sling, I just needed something I could throw in my work bag for when my arm gets tired.

I bought this as after hand surgery I needed to keep my hand raised throughout the day and this just made it so much more comfortable to do so. However my partner then suffered an accident and used this once home to replace the sling he was provided from A&E. Safe to say, he was even more pleased than me! He found this so much more comfortable and easy to adjust, take off & put on by himself! Helpful to have in medical kits!
