Bridge crib notes. Perfect to refer to bidding/response strategies when you are playing with friends.

Good for intermediate level players. Good for beginners, with adjustments to point ranges. Point ranges assume good play and beginners make beginner mistakes like losing count of trumps played. Also for beginners, I added a sticker emphasizing that the first thing is to determine if they are Opener, Responder, Overcaller, or Advancer. Without that, they get to the wrong page. Best book I have found.

This item does not tell you everything you need to know about Bridge (of course) but it does manage to pack a lot of information in as small space. It is really important to study it a little so you'll be able to find information rapidly, if you're using it during a game, and trying to find something in a hurry it can be difficult. Each page covers a different topic, one page for opening the bidding and the other for how to respond to different bids, such as a page for responding to spaded and hearts, another for responding to clubs and diamonds. It has information on some special bids. It's a great quick reference tool if you know at least the basics of Bridge.

Just learning Bridge and this is a great help for somebody like me that's new to this game. It's made the learning curve much easier for me. Great information to have!

Bridge is a complex and nuanced game, but this book makes its language clear. I first learned the rudimentary game 65 years ago, and am hoping to re-engage after a long absence. Bridge At A Glance puts everything at one's fingertips, literally, in a concise and well laid-out fashion. Color coded and easy to follow, it reveals the heart of a truly good teacher: how to present material in a way that anyone can readily understand. Thanks to this little book, I'll be speaking fluent bridge in no time! Bravo, Audrey Grant!
