Nice product - good sheath/scabbard
This is a really cool machete - Why? because it is hard to loose out of a strike as the grip hand protection prevents any flow out of your hand. The sheath is bit tight at the top entrance which in time will tear it up so I put in a metal nut & bolt to stop the inevitable wear. The chopping is good and strong of both branches, thorns, and twigs as well as regular lumber trunks. If the handle grows loose you can just tighthen it with a screwdriver - nice and durable! There is a strap to wrap around your hand should you get really busy in you work not to drop the machete. All in al a solid product worth is money. AAA-rating.

Quality good but heavy.
I have no negative comments. It is long, heavy and has beefy strong construction. That said; some forms on proper safe use of a machete is on YouTube video. Two very important of using it is to let the weight of the tool do the work..do not smack it down hard! It's own blade weight will be enough for the cutting and chopping ...plus you will not get tired as fast. Secondly... swing in a 'in-to-outward' direction, to avoid hitting YOURSELF !!! This blade has a saw-tooth top splne. It is a draw-tooth... meaning when you pull the saw-blade towards you... It will saw. Very well made and the sheath has nice wide belt loop. Comes with wriststrap cord. I would buy again if I were to lose it. One final comment: It is NOT A PRYBAR. You will break the blade if used as a prybar.

Good for normal use
We have had this machete for a year and a half now. We don’t use it every day, but it has seen quite some use. Pretty sturdy, and a little heavy. At one point I replaced a couple screws that fell out of the handle holding the blade in. Just recently my son put a little too much into a swing, and the blade snapped. Very strange to happen, but it probably was not with normal weed cutting force. As a whole it seems like a great tool. We probably will not buy again, but got some good use out of it.

Nice overall length
I don't like the balance of this tool. The tip is way too heavy which is fine for chopping but exhausting to pack and use anywhere. Very good if you are going nowhere but in that case an axe or trail axe will do a better job. I disagree that it is easier to use. The handle appears to be made of plastic like many other Chinese tools that seem to be rebranded. The sheath is cheap cloth, (my snap fails to work) and it is difficult to draw this tool without snagging the sheath. That said, I am sure you can find some use for it and it is reasonably priced. Handles and grips are important for protecting your hands in thick or thorny bush.

Great
It arrived with the tip of the blade broken off, but it’s still usable for what I need it for
