Functions as should!
This was my first time buying any form of snap caps/dummy rounds and so far I am completely satisfied with B’s. They are a little more expensive than some, but after reading many different reviews on many products it seemed like spending the extra couple of dollars was worth it for the quality and durability. While I cannot speak on other brands, I can say the durability seems to be as previously reviewed. I haven’t used them for an extended period yet, so if my opinion changes at all I will change my review, but so far they cycle perfectly. The casing is very close to an actual 9mm, but not only with the bright orange bullet, the weight and feel is very clear to tell the difference between it and an actual round so if you’re able to confuse that, you should only own these dummy rounds and not live ammo until it is completely apparent. Lol.

Use a Speed Loader
Purchased 15 rounds to fill a Sig P320 magazine to simulate exact weight of live ammo. Product is very well made and can be used numerous times without damage by the firing pin. The spring tension in new mags make it a struggle to completely load.....hence I highly recommend a speed loader.

So far, worth it.
These are my first ever snapcaps and seem to be working great. I have noticed that the charge area is already starting to show indents. Has me somewhat concerned about the longevity of the rounds but it has only been a week or two now. Will report back with an update if things go down hill. Revision: Upon posting my original review, B-Unique Enterprises reached out to me to ensure my experience was better. In order to ensure my snap caps were 100% they sent me another set of 5 Dummy 9mm Luger Training Rounds as well as a reinforced version that they are testing. While the same problem occured in the original design, the reinforced version of the snap caps worked flawlessly! While my snapcaps were showing wear from the firing pin after limited use, it is obvious that it is still stopping the firing pin before any damage can occure. Prolonged use may wear out the dummy round quickly though. I most also note that I am using a high end 1911 9mm and a 9mm rifle for these rounds which pack quite a punch to the primer when used. If you have a light weight gun your results may vary and you may not see any wear at all for quite a while!

Paint chips and scratches easily, but works great in a Glock 43!
First off these are great for someone to train how to cycle, load, unjam, comfortable trigger pull, or basically anything that involves a round that doesn’t involve hitting a target. They seem to be of very good quality. Feel about the same weight as a real 9mm round. I have seen several comment about not cycling correctly through a Glock 43. This is the ONLY handgun that I have, and it cycles through perfectly! I have cycled around 100 times since I got the rounds. They have never jammed once. (When I say cycle, this does not mean it does it automatically for you. I’m a semi auto, the only way it will cycle the next round into the chamber is by the gun firing. These are dummy rounds, so they do not fire, hence will not cycle automatically when you pull the trigger. That means you have to grab the slide to cycle these on your own!) The plastic insert the firing pin hits does have a small indention in it now from the multiple dry fires, but you cannot expect this to stay perfect all of its life. (No matter what you think, dryfiring a modern day semi auto will not cause it to break or do damage to a firing pin. They can withstand a dry fire, with nothing to “cushion” the pin!) This brings me to my only complaint. As I mentioned above I have cycled approximately 100 times since I received these (same day as this review was posted) and the paint has some significant chips in it already. The paint has even chipped off inside the barrel and when I cleaned it, I had little orange flakes on my brush and cloth. I speculate that another 100 or so cycles most of not all the paint will be off. They also have some significant scratches in them. I also guess this will eventually cause cycle issues. I will update as I cycle more. (I will add that these have never seen the ground, only a thick carpet floor as I have cycled in my house) Overall, I give a 4 out of 5 star. I would still recommend these to anyone to train with, as they appear to be some of the best I’ve ever seen and easiest to use despite the paint chipping.

Work great for dry fire exercises and helped in learning better trigger control. The first shipment I received had a manufacturing defect where the "primers" were not formed properly. I contacted the seller about the issue and they were very quick to rectify the problem. The new shipment came in what appeared to be a newer package, so I suspect that the first shipment was from an older manufacturing lot.

Fantastic as dummy rounds... not the best for dry fire.
I have a mixed opinion on these, based on what you intend to use them for. As “snap caps” for dry-fire practice, I’m not sure how effective they are at protecting the firing pin. After one to two dozen strikes on each (if that), the firing pin had drilled a hole straight through the soft, cilicone “primer,” so they likely aren’t doing a thing anymore (used in a CZ-75) However, I still gave them four stars, based on the fact that they are hands-down the best “dummy rounds” I’ve used. Unlike other aluminum dummy rounds (such as A-Zoom) that often wear down and leave shavings of metal in your gun and frequently jam, the real brass casings and coated tips on these makes them cycle just as reliablely as a real round, with little wear and no mess. The tips are even wheighted somehow, so they even feel like a real round. I’ve been using them to teach firearms safety and operation to my girlfriend and friends who I’m taking shooting for the first time, and they’ve been great for that. Overall, a very useful purchase.
