A review from a real overnight oats consumer.
Not sure as to why there are complaints in reference to these oats. They are seriously the best overnight oats I have ever had. I’ve been making my own for years but for days when I don’t have time to throw a serving together with this, that and the other thing, I wanted something quick, easy and just as healthy as I would use. I searched and these came up with that crazy banana/coffee flavor combo. I had to try it. Some say it’s pricey? No, garbage oats are cheap...that’s the difference. I’m willing to pay $1.50 - $2.00 a serving (which these are) for a decent breakfast. To me, that’s cheap. Some people will go get a full greasy meal for 5 times as much..I mean...c’mon, people!I’ll admit, when I opened them up and added milk I stirred them and took a little taste off the spoon to see if I wanted to add a bit of coconut sugar. At that time I tasted a nasty bitterness which caused me to even check the expiration date of my almond milk. I figured I wasted my money on this stuff but put just a tiny bit of coconut sugar in as I do for all my oats and put the container in the fridge for the next morning. I opened them at work with low expectations but boy, was I wrong. They are delicious. I had to make them for the next day since I wanted them again so badly. Yes, you can taste the banana. The coffee I don’t believe is something you are supposed to “taste”, as it just adds a hint of flavor to the oats, which is amazing. There was no bitterness. And the part about the “chewy” aspect of the oats? Well, folks, that isn’t the oats. The coconut will remain toothsome. I’ve used it for years and it’s what it does. It’s good for texture and besides, I know I don’t want to eat a piece of coconut that has turned to slime. Anyway, these are excellent and I’ll continue to order them. If you are an overnight oats vet that has tried all the different things you can put into oats and like these flavors you will love these.

Delicious, fresh ingredients, filling, and easy with dairy milk or almond milk
Delicious and easy, and it kept me going all morning without being hungry. I've had it with both low fat dairy milk and almond milk, and it's equally great both ways. I just placed it in a mug, added the milk, stirred, and covered with a small saucer. That made it easy to prepare and easy to eat in the morning, and gave me a plate for some fruit without added effort. The ingredients taste like they're fresh and right out of the quality store bins, and the specialty mulberries and chia beat regular packaged food "hands down". Not too sweet, nice balance, clear tastes. Really nice.My only suggestion is to Amazon– no need to box the protective box around the inner package! Nothing is very fragile here!I'm getting lots more– going to try all the versions.

Just OK, Coffee flavor was good but the chunks of banana were dehydrated and didn't taste good. Pros: Organic, no sugar added
The Maker Overnight Oats, Banana and Coffee were just OK. The Coffee flavor was good and I added a few drops of Stevia to make it sweeter. I liked the flake of coconut but I did not like the chunks of banana. Because the banana's were freeze dried, when they were re-hydrated they were slimy and gross.I followed the simple directions to a T and I used Almond Milk with these. I don't think any other type of milk would have made a difference. What you get:-Five individual packets of Banana & Coffee flavored oats.Directions:-Pour in your favorite milk to cover the oats. Wait until the bubbles stop and then pour in a little more to make sure they're all covered – about 2/3 to 3/4 of a cup should do it.-Stir or put the lid on and give it a shake and let it soak overnight in the fridgeHere are the full nutrition facts and ingredients list below:Nutrition Facts:5 servings per containerServing size:1 pouch (65g)Amount Per Serving:Calories:260Total Fat 5g 7%Saturated Fat 2.5g 11%Trans Fat 0gPolyunsaturated Fat 1.5gMonounsaturated Fat 1gCholesterol 0mg 0%Sodium 5mg 0%Total Carb. 45g 16%Dietary Fiber 8g 27%Total Sugars 12gInc. 0g Added Sugars 0%Protein 7gVitamin D 0mcg 0%Calcium 50mg 2%Iron 2.3mg 10%Potassium 380mg 8%Ingredients:Organic Whole Grain Rolled Oats, Organic Diced Dates, Organic Freeze Dried Diced Bananas, Organic Dried Coconut, Organic Chia Seeds, Organic Instant Coffee, Organic Ground Cinnamon, Organic Ground Nutmeg.Contains: Coconut ingredients.

So tasty!
These are so yummy and the serving is much more than you would expect for portioned packets. I gave them 4 stars because they are pretty loaded wirh sugar and the price is too high for only 5 servings. The packaging is excellent if you care about that kind of thing. These will likely be my addition to the “favorite things” baskets my co-workers and I do at Christmas.

Banana Coffee is absolutely disgusting!
Banana coffee was the absolute worst tasting oatmeal I've ever had. The apple coconut flavor was delicious but the coffee one almost made me vomit. I even tried giving the rest to my dog but he smelled it and ran away and that dog eats anything!

Only the Apple is good
I’ve tried all three flavors and the only good flavor is apple. The banana/coffee and mulberry/chia are not nearly as good.Apple is 5 stars so I bought the other two and was disappointed. Mulberry is 3 stars and banana is 2 stars.

Delicious, healthy, organic, no added sugar and a new family favorite!
My son suggested that we try Maker Overnight Oats and he was right! My family found them to be simply delicious! They're healthy with NO added sugar, organic, EASY to make, and they are a welcome change to our breakfast routine. Apples and Oats are our favorite, though Banana and Coffee is a close second. Banana and coffee - who even thought of that combination, but it's really great! We use almond milk instead of regular milk which works perfectly. And best of all, I'm serving my family something that's healthy, nutritious, and doesn't leave anyone feeling hungry! The Banana and Coffee was so good that we just ordered some Mulberry and Chai!
