Simple install, cost effective, looks great
I put the phone in my pocket with my truck keys. Key punctured the camera glass, but the cameras were unharmed. I needed a quick fix without a trip that cost $120. I watched a video on youtube to see if I could do this myself. After seeing how easy it was, I ordered this glass and got it delivered on Easter Sunday. Once I cleared the old glass, shards, and slivers, I peeled the backing and popped it into place. Word of advice... gently warm the surface, then press firmly along the edges for 2 minutes. Totally worth it. Great fit, as you can see. Looks like factory to me. Cameras both work fine, no change in quality, stabilization still works fine.

Works perfectly!
Looks brand new! This was a hail Mary after dropping the phone and catching this screen at just the right angle to smash it! This was awesome, easy to use and had a much better outcome than imagined. Just lucky the camera behind this screen wasn't damaged. Can't even tell it was replaced!

Saves A LOT of Money
After inquiring about having my Note 8 camera lens repaired locally, I decided to try this product to save myself the $60 the local repair shop wanted. They actually wouldn't even replace just the lens insert. They said the entire back cover had to be replaced if they do the repair. Nope. $60 vs $8 is a no brainer. I usually repair every thing else around here, a cell phone camera lens can't be hard. I was right.Patience is key here. Making sure all this tiny shards of broken lens are removed as well as the old adhesive will make or break the process. I took my sweet time, getting in no hurry whatsoever. I think it took 20ish minutes total. You would never know the original lens was ever broken. Phone looks new again. Camera function still works perfectly.

Good product. Minor scratches. Easy to use. Beautiful pictures again!
After taking off the original broken glass, which was surprisingly easier than I thought would be, this glass was very simple to place on. The fit was perfect and the adhesive seems good quality. Time will tell. I would definitely recommend having it in place right before applying any pressure. The glass itself seems much more durable than the manufacturers glass. Wish they used the same gorilla glass on camera as they use on screen. My only problem with the replacement that was shipped was there were a few scratches on it. Luckily They were only small and none in front of lens. Only on black part. Little disappointing but no deal breaker. I also wish it was shipped with some kind of protective backing. Be careful not to get fingerprints under glass. Luckily I had no issue and my camera is back to taking beautiful pictures.

Love it
Screen broke in my pocket with my keys. So i called sprint to find out if they could still fix both the main screen and the small camara glass on the back side. When they found out that both were broken they told me that i had to pay $250 deductable to be able to get another note 8 through the insuarance.I thought that was ridiculous and i started doing reseach on youtube and found out that this little glass was very cheap to replace and extremely easy to bbn install. So i relplaced the little glass and took it to sprint so they could replace the main screen and everything cost me around$50 and in return i got my Cellphone back brand new.So yes its very worth the money

Crapshoot whether will work on all note 8s
The product is good but the glue mask was misaligned on both of the products I bought.the long distance lense stuck to the glue on both. Ruined the distance focusing lense. Have to destroy the product to remove it so return not possible

I'm sure a good hair dryer would also work fine
I was a bit skeptical when ordering this lens replacement. I was a victim of the known issue of the Note 8 camera lens breaking. The package arrived quickly thanks to Prime. I watched the intructional video provided from the seller. Literally 10 minutes later, the new lens was installed. There were no "special" tools required. I used a heat gun and the wife's tweezers. I leu of a heat gun, I'm sure a good hair dryer would also work fine. You just flip the phone over, heat up the affected lens cover and pull the broken glass out with tweezers. Mine did come out in various size pieces. As long as you keep away from the camera, which is easy to do, and make sure you tap out any remaning broken shards, you'll be fine. The new lens was a good tight fit. It was high quality GLASS and did not have any fingerprints on the glass. Although I would check before install regardess as any fingerprints or smudges would be easy to remove. It comes with adhesive already on it so after the broke lens is out, you literally just drop this in place. I was pleasantly surprised when finished. I'm unable to tell the glass was ever broke. I highly recommend this seller if you're facing the same situation. Also, I bought this item, it was not given to me for a review. I have no affiliation with the seller. I'm just a longtime Prime member that leaves an honest review to help another shopper.

Very simple and easy to replace
This is a great replacement camera glass lens for the Note 8! I thought I'd have to go to a repair shop that charges you $50-$150 for any sort of simple repair, and was pleasantly surprised to see this on Amazon. Bonafide Hardware gives you an easy fix if you happen to damage or crack your camera lens for the back. When you're taking off the damaged old glass, don't be afraid if it starts cracking all over and feels like you're destroying the camera area -- it's supposed to crumble off bit by bit and stay together. Overall, even though it doesn't come with instructions, it's fairly simple and intuitive!
