[edit Jan 20, 2020 - Just noticed with my most recent box that these are no longer labeled as “San Marzano” tomatoes but now say “Southern Italian” instead, as seen in the pics. I thought it was odd that they were being sold as San Marzano tomatoes before when those are pretty strictly controlled, with numbered cans and a specific seal, etc. so the change probably reflects that they are not what are officially considered to be from San Marzano. Nonetheless, they are still excellent and I still love them.]These are my new favorite San Marzano whole, peeled tomatos. Don't know if they're "authentic" San Marzano tomatos (which I thought were supposed to have a special logo/seal with serial number on the can), but they're organic, non-GMO, BPA-free, and don't have basil, which is a very unique combination for Italian canned tomatos, so I only buy these now. Oh, and they taste great too!

I had a problem with the set that was sent to me but I've been so sick I did not have energy to try to get a refund or replacement. A few of the cans were dented and one of the cans had bug larvae on the bottom and was rusty on the bottom. I needed this for a recipe and actually did use the cans that were not dented. The recipe came out delicious. I slow cooked in a crockpot two cans making a special dish. Problem was not with the product but the manner it arrived in.

Simple ingredients and very good flavor. There's not much more I can ask for in a tomato product. I always order Italian brands because almost all of the US ones have citric acid in them, and we have an allergy in the family. These deliver everything I want: plump, whole tomatoes in a rich tomato sauce.I regularly make roasted tomato sauce by roasting these with garlic cloves and chunks of onions. I've made with other brands, and it's still very good, but this brand is my favorite.It's an excellent product, and I highly recommend these.

This is a flavourful Organic product that comes from Italy and I am enjoying using it to make soups and pasta sauces. I generally pop the contents of each can into a blender for a few seconds and find it produces a lovely smooth consistency (the contents of each can are whole roma type tomatoes packed in their own juice). I like this product and would buy it again.

These have a very thick sauce and don't have the bright, acidic flavor that I am going for when I buy Italian plum tomatoes. Won't buy again.

Expired. Smells old musty and moldy

Very ripe tomato flavor from vine ripened peeled tomatoes canned in tomato sauce rather than water. Firm enough to slice for salads or pizza topping. For pizza sauce for six pizza’s empty one can into a large bowl and liquify with a submersion blender.
