I know I'm dating myself but does anyone know if this is comparable to Maybeline cake eyeliner from years ago?

I recall Maybeline cake liner from back in the day!. I would say this cake liner is very comparable. I bought the black ( not the navy ) . I'm getting older and liquid liners are beginning to look harsh or me. I love the cake liners because I can control the intensity of the color. Also my old eyes are more sensitive than they use to be. I used to be able to wear ( smudgefree pencil liner all day, but not anymore.This cake liner doesn't smudge, and lasts for most of the day ( not all day, but longer than pencils or liquid liner ) I would recommend this eye liner.

Can you use this product dry?

Using it dry gives a very light application without a lot of pigment. Some people like to use this to give a light touch of color on their lower lashline, for example. The best way to use this product is either wet or damp, since it dries to a long lasting and highly pigmented finish.

Can you please take talc out of your eyeshadow?

There is no talc in this liner at all!

Is this a very dark blue when on (like black with a little color) ? I would use dry. I use a Mac one like this but discontinued 😢

Sorry, I can't speak to the blue color since I have only used the black.
