FLEET 50EA Adult Glycerin Suppositories by FLEET C.B. COMPANY

I started using them after I was prescribed codeine which led to constipation. I cut them in half and they work within 15-30 minutes. I started using them in America where they are cheap. Pity they are so expensive in UK but I will continue buying them. So glad they are available on Amazon now as buying on eBay can be hit or miss.

I have used various suppositories over the years due to having severe bowel problems and, by far, these are the easiest and most comfortable to use.They do take a while to work but they don’t cause a painful stomach ache like ones I’ve used previously. They take anything from 15mins to an hour to work so they aren’t a quick fix but they definitely do the job. You just need to use it and wait patiently for a result.Good value for money for the tub too but keep them somewhere cool as they do melt very easily.Mine contained the ingredients listed plus Aloe Vera which probably makes them kinder to use.They are also a good shape that makes them easy to insert unlike some that are rounder, these are a smooth conical shape with a rounded end.They are definitely a kinder way of getting the job done when you need it.

Due to my condition & the medication I take, I have problems that need the aid of laxatives, suppositories etc. I generally use a different brand of suppository that works well but are a bit fiddly to use. Now & again I need an enema from the doctors, & they are always Fleet. So when I saw these Fleet suppositories I thought great, I'll give these a try. Sadly for me, they were little more than useless. Being only 2g instead of 4g is probably the reason, I knew this when I ordered them, but thought that they might still work, but they didn't. Such a shame as they are lot easier to insert. They may well work for others as due to medication, my body tends to be very stubborn, but for me, they're no good. The 2 stars is for the ease of use & the packaging.

it is fit for the purpose !

Purchased this as it appeared to be good value for money. However the suppositories do not seem to be as effective as other brands. I also expected them to be individually wrapped in the tub. They were all unwrapped and stuck together in the tub. I won’t purchase again.

My doctor recommended glycerine suppositories many years ago when all other products failed or caused too many side effects. Simple to use everyday and I have had no ill effects for over 20 years, using one every day. I would still ensure you see your GP first in case you have other underlying problems

Very pleased with these , they are smaller than the ones I’ve used before and take a little longer to work , I like the fact they are unwrapped in a screw top container, I won’t be going back to the other type.

Pop one up and you’re good to go after 10-15 minutes. No rushing to the bathroom after taking tablets and getting caught short, you can do it in the comfort of your own home and control when it happens.
