I have been using flitz for over 30 years since i first discovered it . I have tried many other polishes but never get the results i do from flitz. A little goes a long ways. I use it on a variety of things from silverware,belt buckles chrome ,aluminum knives and firearms. I will always have flitz on hand for polishing ,protecting and preserving my metal objects and keep them looking good.

Updated review (8/15/21)I received a replacement from Amazon, and it too arrived open in a bubblepak bag. Not a good omen. The container had leaked in the bag, though I had started a return on this item as well, I later decided to keep this container. I wiped out the bag and used what had spilled out. Still messy and unnecessary if the container could be sealed better.On to the product review. This is an excellent polish. A little runny for a paste, more like a cream designed to squeezed out of a tube.This works on aluminum (Billet or other), paint, chrome, on a buffing wheel in a pinch (a little too liquid, gets everywhere). Use this stuff to polish out the paint, chrome, or aluminum on your car, motorcycle, and bicycle. It even gets rid of the haze (after washing) on on sun, road grime, and oxidation abused paint on my car, also polishing the aluminum and chrome on my motorcycle. Be careful you can screw up your paint job if used wrong. If used to polish aluminum this will not put a "shiny" polish on matte, brushed finish, or spun aluminum, unless it had a fine polish on the item before. Great for removing the haze buildup.This polish has a lot of uses. I like to use this polish with a microfiber cloth, one for application , and a clean one to polish it out.I can't even begin to tell you how much I like this product.This older review was written earlier when I received an open container in a bubblepak bag... At this time I can not rate the features of this item, it arrived open in the bag and everywhere, I am returning, disappointed.Is this stuff supposed to be runnier than the toothpaste in my toothpaste tube? Even though it is stated to be a paste in the title of the description?My hand lotion seems to be thicker?

This stuff works great for polishing cases for reloading. I have used it on both the brass and the nickle cases and mixed with corn cob media with some nice results. Easy to clean off and it really does prolong the shine of the cases while resisting fingerprints.

Every home should have this or an equilavent. This stuff is extraordinary.

I've used Flitz polishing products on and off all my life. When I bought my first small tube in the 80s I remember it being a bit more abrasive than Semi chrome. Now, it seems to be basically the same. An extremely fine abrasive, so fine in fact it is stated "non abrasive". Something completely non abrasive would be like RenWax.Then there's the ammonia question that always comes up. I have never used the liquid polish, so I can't say...but there HAS to be ammonia in this paste compound.The scent is strong and obvious as a bottle of the old Parsons unscented ammonia in the bottle...bad thing? No. But the advertisements are confusing.Flitz website says it leaves behind a protective WAX film...so polish, get the black residue off, go back and rub it down with a clean cloth, especially if the polishing is an intermediate step. You could use 90% rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol to remove the filmThat being said does it do what it is advertised to do...clean and polish? You dang skippy it does! Everything I tried it on, although not as fast as Semichrome.Just a dab and I mean a DAB...very small amounts at a time. 2.5 pounds of this stuff? Unless you're detailing vehicles everyday?? That's gonna literally last a lifetime.

This polishing cream works very well when used with the preparation spray !
