This family tree or tree of life pendant is really nice. It's a tiny bit heavier than I would prefer, but it's not a big deal. The long, lightweight, 24" stainless steel popcorn-style chain is not adjustable. It works for certain outfits, but it's a little longer than I usually like. Also, the pendant makes a lot of zziip zipping noises on the chain as you move around. The pendant swings back and forth easily across the chain. It's not like a smooth snake chain so it makes a bit more noise than usual.The natural green aventurine stone is beautiful and imperfect. It's what gives this necklace weight. Interestingly, the stone is a cabachon, meaning that one side is domed and the other side is flat. However, the flat side of this stone faces outwards under the cutout of the tree. The domed side faces your body, which I've never really seen before. But this way you can reverse the way you wear the pendant. The aventurine is bezel set and prong set as well, making it more secure than other pendants.Overall, this is a beautiful necklace. I'm just critiquing it because I've worked with jewelry for so many years. There is really no serious reason for me to give this necklace less than 5 stars. I encourage you to get it.♡

A beautiful reminder of family

Beautiful necklace, however I only had it for a few months and I did not wear it in the shower and I’m noticing the silver polish is rubbing off. But I guess you get what you pay for.

It was perfect and fit very well. I also tried it on two other chains of different lengths and it works fine. When I wore it to a friend and family party, I got lots of compliments.

My father (who has cancer for the fourth time) sent me a giftcard for Amazon. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted..it was a small giftcard as he does not work. But, it may be the last gift I get from him. I finally went with this necklace and am SO happy I did! It was better than I imagined, packaged well, and comes with a bag for storage. I LOVE IT and will be buying from this company again! Shipping was quick as well. Very satified!!

Not pretty at all as shown in the picture and the chain was broken
