Betron BPS60 Bluetooth Speaker

Fantastic bit of kit!I purchased the BSPS60 in a bit of a rush pre holiday, as the volume on my tablet speakers isnt very good. Have to admit I was a bit dubious that a small gadget would struggle to produce much volume or a good quality of sound. However I'm please to report that its a great device, packing quite a punch for a tennis ball sized device.It looks smart (I went for purple) with a solid feel. Colour is as it looks on screen and the quality of materials used belies its value price point.With a quick twist the Betron is realeased from its catch and expands by a few cm to allow it to perform to its potential, although I didnt find much drop in sound quality when operated in ball form.The on off switche, volume rocker switch, and port entries for headphone jack and mini USB port for charging were neatly placed on the side of the device and are of a good quality and fixed well, so I have full confidence they wont work their way loose anytime soon.The headphone and micro usb cables provided are short, but that is all thats required when charging and connecting directly to a device, and prevents ugly trailing cables, and can be stored neatly in the box the speaker comes packaged in.Instructions were clear and simple and after a brief charge I had the speaker connected to both my phone and tablet via bluetooth.I used the speaker for playing music and watching movies whilst away and the speaker performed admirably. If you are in the same room as the speaker there is more than enough volume, but place it on another floor of a building and you may struggle a little. It probably performs at about a similar level to most inbuilt TV speakers.On one charge of around 60 minutes I probably got about 4 or 5 hours of sound.The speaker provides useful beeps to confirm when its turned on, low on battery, and connected to a device.Overall I'm really pleased with my purchase and I'm struggling to find a negative in terms of either looks, practicality, or performance. A bargain buy!

I love this little fella! It is very compact when in the closed position and the sound is nicely enhanced when unscrewed. It was very easy to connect to a smart phone which is the reason I bought it. It is never going to have the capacity for you to turn your devices up to 11, but gives a good loud sound without distortion. I use it in the office to play some tunes and it is the perfect tool. It gives a lengthy charge from the USB, in fact it hasn't run out (I charge it intermittently anyway); there is a light that lets you know when it is charging and when it is fully charged.The one thing missing for me is a protective case, as I carry it around a lot in a jacket or rucksack. However, I took a chance on the capacity of the below item from Amazon (which costs very, very little) and it is the exact size so that it just zips in. The material is pleasingly hardy to. Niiice. Works fine, had a few issues synchronizing with my Lenovo X121e, but worked at the end and now works fine for about a month. But the speaker has a few design flaws that if improved, would make it a perfect speaker:1. beeping sounds when turned on & connecting - Get rid of them. They are set to loudest, even if you adjust the volume down, turn off and on and it's very loud again. Instead, use the existing LED light and color indication.2. volume control - insteaf of a normal turn-wheel, there's a digital one. Works slower and is not as intuitive. (comparing to my previous X-mini that I lost and replaced with Betron). You have to push the button to left or right and than wait to see if volume goes down - and it's a bit slow. The simple turn wheen on X-mini worked much faster and more reliably.3. Bluetooth syncing - not sure if it was my laptop or this speaker, but I had to tweak a few things, switch a few settings around until something worked. Not exactly plug and play like other bluetooth devices.Positives:+ has an anti-slide rubber lining on it's base, so doesn't slide around, even if loud & has bass vibrations+ feels even louder than my previous X-miniOverall it's good for the money, but if these design flaws are fixed, it would be a perfect travel wireless speaker.

Wow ; this Betron is a little darling . At £14.85 less than half original price . ( Not that it's 'old stuff ' ) Real quality build and finish , arrives beautifully packaged and with all cables ever needed . ( USB to micro for charging from your Laptop - just plug in both ends - , mini stereo to same for connection to kit without Bluetooth ). But in Bluetooth mode , things couldn't be better or simpler . You don't really need instructions , but those enclosed are easy-peasy and clear . The sound quality is A1 excellent , full-stop ; never mind "for its size " , no , this is brilliant quality , that's it . We download stuff from BBC I-player onto Tablets ( Wife's ipad , my Bush Android ) and connection and listening quality could not be better or easier . I bought a black one to match my tablet case and loved it so much I'd ordered a red one for Mrs S . within a few days . She's in lerve too .We'll be keeping an eye on Betron for other products coming up . I could not be more delighted ; thank you . Look at it . Design classic .

Ich kann nicht verstehen das einzig anderer Rezension hier hier(1 Stern!) ich habe 2 gekauft, ein mit, ein ohne Bluetooth, finden beider einfach Funktionen Gute! und preiswert zugleich (das mit Bluetooth für ein Kumpel mit Iphone, ich habe keine ;) ) ich habe auch ein Basic Boombox (original) und da gibst kein unterscheid in Performance, nur das Akku gebrauch zeit ist anders. Ich bin zufrieden.

Der Klang lässt echt zu wünsche übrig. Das geht mal gar nicht. Da hat ja mein iPhone einen besseren Klang.
