Makes the underside of the felt very fluffy
It could be so amazing to work on it compared to foam, as it's totally quiet and effortless, also the needle ruins the foam pretty quickly so you have to keep replacing it. BUT this brush makes the underside of the felt so ragged and fluffy that it's impossible to do more than a pre-felt on it. I still use it for that purpose though as it's much easier on my hands but I finish the pieces on foam or felt block.

A good size, arrived very promptly
A good size, arrived very promptly. When needle felting an animal or other 3D shape it holds the object well, however it does make it all fluffy so for this one does need a smooth board as well for finishing. It is ideal for surface felting on to a fabric. Saves your needles. Does need a non-slip mat underneath

Great product
After using the foam mats for needlefelting and pulling the fibres and having to keep unsticking the felt from the foam i plumped for this and oh am i so glad i did. Its wonderful and the felt comes off it easily and looking so much nicer. Definitely worth buying.reat product

Mostly good, a few flaws.
This is a much longer lasting type of may than the foam type and feels good to work on. It is also much quieter to use. However the bottom is not quite flat so I have to use it on a tea towel so it doesn’t rock annoyingly. Also the fibres on the underside of a piece do get caught in the brush so I still use a foam mat as I get towards the end of a shape.

great for forming bases
It is solidly made and the bristles will last for a long time i think. I find that it is too bristley and can make the item fluff up as I'm working on it. But i then move it to one of the sponge bases. I now use the brush mat for working on the shape and base, them the sponge for fine working to provide a good flat finish.

Large felting mat
The item arrived quite quickly - certainly long before the end date stated. The packaging was strong enough and sensibly sized. The mat is for my granddaughter. It looks solid enough to do the job. I'm very pleased with it and glad that I chose that one.

Brilliant
Amazing! Ive been felting using a sponge/mat for years and this is so much more effective. Felting is so much quicker and easier, I wish I had invested in one sooner!
