The product is versatile.
This is an excellent product that we have found useful for lots of stuff other than food. This is our second purchase ... they seem to disappear into my shop, garage, bedroom, glove box, garden, etc. ...

A really great liquid container set a a great price!
Chinese restaurants have been using them for years, you can too. These are good containers for the price and I like that this set has three sizes. While you can use them for a variety of things, knowing that they will hold liquid without leaking certainly provides peace of mind when preserving the freshness of other items as well. These hold up well to normal wear and tear and stack nicely if you let the contents cool first so the lid doesn't puff from the steam.I wash my dishes by hand so I can't speak to how well they would hold up to a dishwasher, but they microwave beautifully and freeze well without any distortion of shape. However, they can be brittle and therefore prone to chipping and cracking. As a matter of fact, one of my small bowls had a chip in it when I got them. But, at this price, I didn't let it bother me.

Almost Perfect, But...
I've had a hard time finding containers that work for our family for leftovers. It seemed like our best option was ziploc bags, but I had that they are single use. Then I saw a youtube video by Ethan Cheblowski, saying how much he loves these containers, and for the price, I thought I'd give them a try. I really like these. They are waterproof, the 3 sizes fit our needs, and they stack nicely whether in the fridge or in the cupboard. They're also easy to get clean. That makes them almost perfect, except that sometimes the lids will rip off part of the top of the container. If they can fix that quality issue then these really will be perfect.

Perfect for Freezing & Storing Meals!
I buy these frequently and absolutely love them! They’re perfect for freezing and storing soup, pasta, and other meals. The lids fit tightly, so there are no leaks, and they hold up well in the freezer and microwave. The variety of sizes is super convenient, and they’re durable enough for multiple uses. Highly recommend!

Not microwavable ***Update... they are microwavable
***I wanted to be sure I came back here to update my review. I have since put these in the microwave to warm the contents and it worked just fine. No melting issues or warping. I also put soup in the freezer using these containers and they work perfectly. I'm changing my 3 star review to 5 because it does what it says and they are VERY convenient and stackable.Old review...Description clearly says that these are microwavable and they definitely are not. I gave it 3 stars because I was able to store prepped food in the containers for a trip to the cabins so they work for storing food in, seal was tight with no leakage. I was just hoping that I could put soup in them and then pop them in the microwave, instead I had to pour them into a microwavable container first. I haven't tried them in the freezer yet but I'm not sure I will chance that. When washing them prior to use, they got flimsier with the warm/hot water... and then hardened back up while drying.

So practical use them all the time
I often end up with an odd amount of leftovers and this provides a great way store them. Also while preparing a meal and you have a part of it, like sliced onions, you can put the onions in one of these and put it out of the way so you can prepare other parts of the meal. The are pretty durable, but the same grace, it gets too messed up, I can toss it out, the cost is not prohibitive. I originally bought a small set, and slowly started to use them, soon I realized I was using them all the time and then bought the much bigger set. Found a new good use, bought bulk season in cheep plastic bags from a Ethnic Grocery store, the bags were non resealable. Pour the unused spice in one of these containers and cut the label out of the plastic and set it on top of the spice. The lid is opaque but I can figure out most labels without having to open the lid. Also if you want to give a fiend some food, if they give it back, great, if they don't, who cares, buy more

Large number of containers and better quality than more expensive stuff.
Normally I don't get long-winded on these things but let me tell you a story. I have been inheriting containers from various roommates for something like 15 years now. I've lived in two households with 6 different people and when they moved out for some reason they left their containers with me. That means I had this huge collection of containers from Ikea, Rubbermaid, Tupperware etc made from various grades of plastic, with different 'stackable' and non-stackable lids. I must have had 50 of the dang things. Also, I admit I have a tendency to forget that I put food in them and come across them with... gross contents. Now I'm on my own and I looked at this huge collection of containers, some clean and some disgusting and said "Screw this. These things are awful." I got rid of them and bought this pack.I could not be happier. Now instead of struggling to find space for a huge collection of mismashed containers with lids that don't even seal, I have one small double-stack of containers that I can wash or discard if i forget to do so. The lids are universal, stack neatly and fit nice and tight. I've used them in the microwave and I've put hot foods in them and they stood up well. I don't have a dishwasher anymore, but I'm confident they really would be safe on the top shelf of one.So if you're like me and want to reclaim storage space, hate cleaning out moldy food because you're forgetful, and want something solid, easy and reliable: get this variety pack. You won't regret it.
