Hottest Spot in Hummingbird Town
The media could not be loaded. The hummingbirds in West Hollywood love it!One week after putting on our balcony we have dozens of beautiful hummingbirds daily. This slight shift in our back yard’s biodiversity has also brought some gorgeous honeybees and butterflies! Cannot recommend enough. The feeder is small and mighty, just like the birds it serves. Easy fill / refill. Aesthetically can fit in any environment. You won’t regret this purchase.

Best Hummingbird Feeder
The best Hummingbird Feeder I've ever had!*The wide mouth makes it easy to fill and clean.*The reservoir is thicker plastic which is easily removed for cleaning. Other cheaper plastic ones eventually crack and leak.*The feeder openings and perch are a single metal piece which hold up really well. Plastic ones eventually crack. The only issue I've noticed is the red metal flowers on the feeder openings eventually fade but the birds don't seem to care at all.*The attached metal hanger is perfect.*The bottle is red glass which easily attracts the hummingbirds and lasts so much longer than plastic. It's flat on the top which makes it easy to fill when you turn it upside down because you can just set it flat on the counter.*When I ordered the first one, I noticed that the hummingbirds stopped going to my other feeders and seemed to prefer this one!*I prefer a smaller size feeder because it makes it easier to keep the nectar fresh. Holds about 12 oz.I've replaced my other feeders with this one!Highly recommend!

I have had one of these hummingbird feeders for several months, & when my daughter said she was looking for a new one, I knew what she needed. This one is easier to clean than many because of the larger glass throat & the sturdy two piece metal base - with resting perch at each feeding station. The base screws on securely & doesn't leak. No more drips on the porch is a wonderful thing!

Very pretty. But starting to go after 2 seasons
I thought this feeder was pretty and a great price for a glass feeder. The red bottle is even more vibrant in person. It has a vintage look I love. Seems heavy enough to withstand a fall from a moderate height too. Love that the bottle mouth is wide enough that you could fit a regular sized bottle brush in it for cleaning.Last year was my first year getting into feeding hummingbirds. I usually just plant flowers that attract them but I bought a couple of cheap plastic feeders from Dollar Tree in early summer and got the recipe online for making nectar (minus the harmful red dye) for pennies and I was hooked. Within hours of putting out the feeders, my yard was abuzz with hummers. So, even though it is winter and I am joyously/delightedly watching cardinals eat suet from the suet feeders I hung this year while squirrels and crows busy themselves trying to shake the seeds out of my "squirrel resistant" seed feeders, I miss the beautiful, fearless little hummingbirds who would sometimes come within an inch of my face to stare at me and briefly study me before darting back to a feeder for another drink (or to dive bomb a "competitor" and push him or her out of the way). Anxiously awaiting the return of the hummers. I think they will love the dazzling red bottle.Update 6/3/19: I now have 6 or 7 glass feeders and though they are all gorgeous, I think this one is still my favorite because the hummingbirds love it. It is the only one I have with perches in front of each receptacle so they can rest and drink instead of having to hover and drink. So far, I haven't had any peeling and chipping of the red glaze that other reviewers mentioned. I hope I don't. One other thing I observe about the glass feeders in general is that they resist mold. I try to clean and replenish my feeders every 2 weeks. With the cheaper plastic kind, after a week or so, mold spots would start to form on the walls of the feeder. Not the case with glass.Update 6/6/20: So now the color is starting to fade on the bottle as well as on the flower receptacles. Not too mad though. It held up through 2 seasons through some wickedly hot Carolina summers. I guess I would say I am mildly disappointed because glass feeders aren't cheap and I invested in in fir the design as well as the beautiful appearance. Do I wish that it was made out of true colored glass as opposed to being white glass with a transparent red glaze over it. Yeah, I do. This is one of my favorite feeders so I am just a little disappointed it is starting to go. Maybe I can upcycle it with some kind of transparent spray paint...if that even exists. I guess if exists, Amazon will have it. Taking off one star because I expected it to last just a little longer

Best feeder - Red attracts, Easy to use, Quality
Flocks of hummingbirds w/in a week of hanging. The red attracts them like a magnet. They will even drink from it while we are holding it. Our neighbors saw the flocks of hummingbirds at our house, and have all switched to this exact feeder. I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but it’s not. They compete for spots on the feeder. We refill it twice a day.It is well-made. The metal base is so much better than the plastic ones out there. They like the perch for their feet. The feeding holes are large. We often have 2 birds drinking together, at the same time, out of the same hole. The red is wearing off just a bit where we screw on the base, but it still looks great, is holding up well after hanging all summer. Wide mouth, super easy to clean and re-assemble. No leaking (see tip), the base tightens easily, & obvious when it is tight enough. A 12-inch S-hook helped lower it for ease of reach. There is a small amount of rust on the metal base where it screws on. This is after a full summer of use, refilling every day. It doesn't show, or get mixed in w/ the nectar.Tip:1) After filling and screwing base on: Turn it right side up towards one of the half circles on the bottom of the feeder base. This prevents leaking when turning it over.We give these as gifts often, knowing we are giving a nice looking, quality feeder that will attract the most hummingbirds.
