I have never been disappointed with this brand. Of. yeast ALWAYS WORKS GREAT ON ALL MY BAKING NEEDS amd at a great price. I never buy Individual packets at higher cost so . Measure your own . But in this brand as . ITS GIVES MY BREAD A STRONG YEASTY SMELL IN THE OVEN AND TASTE THAN OTHER TOP BRANDS I used. The Hawaiian rolls are my favorite with this yeast and soft rolls. My spouse loves . I won't use another brand BUT some prefer fast acting but with this you know the yeast will be good and not take a chance of mixing in with flour without proofing it first. Its stays fresh for years in refrig i have even used mine a yr after expire date . SO SAVE A RETURN OR HASSLE OF REFUND and disappointment of flat bread

Needed for my bread baking.
Came nicely vacuum sealed, decent price and expiration date is way ahead in time too... I used it and it seems to rise my bread nicely. I did reseal iflt really good and put it in the fridge to keep it Active. Will buy again when I need to. Expiration date is way ahead in time too. Quick Shipping!!

Only a 6 month shelf life when dry yeast in small packs last 2 years.
I out the yeast in the fridge to see if i can get more out if the six month shelf life it came with. It worked fast when i made my bread last week. Definitely a value for only 10 bucks. I can make bread when i need it now (for stews and soups and spaghetti) Bakes nice. Its only yeast. Not very fresh in that it has a 6 month shelf life when other brands guarantee 2 years. I would get a different brand in the future.

Red Star Yeast is consistent. It works great for my bread. I can't find it in the store, so I'm glad I found it here.
