JCG Wi-Fi Range Extender, 600Mbps 802.11ac Wall Plug Wi-Fi Repeater Dual Band Booster with WPS Button, Ethernet Port and Travel Adapters (American, British, European Standard) –AC600

I initially had a bit of trouble with this item getting it set up, but after some excellent customer service and advice from Dora on the very proactive customer service team (it's so nice getting an unexpected welcome email from a company) my extender is now up and running well and I have a great signal upstairs. Just a tip - the device operates as a separate wi-fi network to your original when set up, albeit the same password, but once you know that it's very simple to connect. If I have any more problems with the extender, I am confident that the company will help me in the future, but I am looking forward to a few years of trouble free extender service.

Seems to work! I found it hard to configure using the instructions supplied. 1. Used WPS OK but it still showed as a separate SSID when looking at available wifi connections. This would not be a problem as I could ignore that, if I could be confident that my devices were connecting to the device when nearby and I select my network's SSID. Using WiFi Analyser on my phone (which shows MAC address of the AP you are connected to) clients were not connecting to this though. 2. Reset to default, connected to it via Ethernet cable and ran through setting up manually. The instructions tell you to choose the Repeater option. This ran through OK but then I still had it listed as a separate SSID, and a new SSID of my "proper" one with "-EXT" at the end. I didn't want this as I want a seamless situation for clients to only have the one default SSID to connect to. 3. Reset again and did as 2 above but this time renamed at every opportunity the SSID to the proper network one (despite it seeming to say that you don't have to do that). This appears to have worked as I only have my standard SSID showing now in available networks, plus I can see that I am connecting to the MAC address of this repeater. 4. Now the admin interface is not available from the original default IP. As it has picked up an IP from my router then that is the address I can access the admin pages. I asked Support for help and they advised that I must set it up using the Repeater (WISP) option. This goes against the instructions that go with it, and from everything I have read about WISP would not be right. I have left it as is and it appears to be working. Time will tell it if halves the bandwidth available (as all repeaters do) and if this is a problem streaming audio/video.

Works well but in the area that I wanted connection in also does not get thru the walls.

Bought to serve as a Wifi range extender - setup was delayed as I couldn't work out how to connect it wirelessly as no WPS button on Router. But connected quickly once attached to my laptop via an network to usb adaptor, purchased separately. This device, once configures did exactly what it says on the box. Have now placed it on the top floor and it's extending the wifi signal very well.

I report what happened. I make no comment. I could not connect to their server [...].1 as directed either through my web browser or through my iPhone. Although my phone picked up the device through WiFi I could not connect using the appropriate router code. Following all this I got an e-mail apparently from them asking me to review the product. I replied with a read receipt. The read receipt was returned as a phishing e-mail. (Kaspersky). I suggest you draw your own conclusions.

Very poor instructions and support. The device worked well for about 90 days but now it works intermittently and the reset button does absolutely nothing

A brilliant product. Arrived quickly, very easy to set up and install and has helped boost the wifi brilliantly. We live in a chateau with very thick walls so weren't sure how well they would work here, but their doing a brilliant job. Highly recommend

Early days but this has proved itself as a really good purchase,certainly better than a previous range extender I bought. My only grumble was that it took me a long time to set up and access the menu information. This could have been due to an issue in my property, as others don't appear to have had problems.

Egal in welchem Zimmer ich den Verstärker in die Steckdose setzte, ich habe überall volle Leistung und gute Verbindung mit meiner Fritz Box. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Il prodotto è ottimo, di facile installazione nonostante le istruzioni non in italiano.Non ho dato le 5 stelle solo per via della spedizione a mio avviso lenta. Ottimo acquisto.

Répéteur pas très chère et très efficace ! 2.4 &5 Ghz pour ce prix c'est vraiment incroyable. Les options proposé sont très nombreuses et le répéteur est programmable comme bon vous semble. Les différents mods sont complet et satisferont tous le monde ! Livré avec des adaptateur prise secteur pour d'autres pays, c'est sympa. Petit point négatif, j'ai l'impression que l'antenne wifi est légèrement, mais légèrement moins puissante que mon ancienne. J'avais un répéteur COMFAST et il capte 27mbps et celui ci entre 24 & 27mbps. Pas très grave. Je n'ai pas encore testé le mod 5Ghz mais je suis persuadé qu'avec ma nouvelle connexion il sera très performant ! Je recommande très fortement ce produit, pas chère, solide et paramétrable comme bon vous semble (Ah oui et menu en Fr aussi) Incroyable !

Tengo fibra de Movistar+ con router Comtrend VG-8050 que solo tiene 2,5 GHz y estoy rodeado de muchísimos vecinos con sus redes wifi activadas. En este maremágnum había solapamientos en todos los canales y los equipos wifi de casa perdían continuamente la comunicación. Cuando vi este repetidor en la oferta flash del 26 de julio y las buenas críticas, no me lo pensé: pa la saca! Tras trastear la aplicación de configuración en Android y en Windows, lo dejé instalado como repetidor WISP y a 5 GHz me va perfecta la red wifi y además he conseguido mejorar la señal en otras habitaciones en las que antes era muy débil. En resumen: cumple perfectamente su cometido y precio reducido. Lo recomiendo.

Ich habe einen einfachen WLAN-Verstärker gesucht, der einen Kellerraum mit WLAN "weiterversorgen" und recht günstig sein sollte. Zusätzlich sollte sowohl das 5 GhZ, also auch das 2,4 GhZ-Netz beherrscht werden. Was soll ich sagen? Genau das tut das Gerät und dies zuverlässig und ohne "Mucken" zu machen. Auch die Einrichtung mit WPS verlief problemlos. Ich empfehle jedoch, das durch den Extender aufgemachte WLAN nicht mit dem Originalnamen publizieren zu lassen, sondern (wie es auch im Menü vorgeschlagen wird) mit _EXT zu versehen. Ansonsten kommen Endgeräte, welche sich im Überschneidungsbereich befinden (z.B. Handys) schonmal durcheinander. Ein Stern Abzug gibt's für die rein englische Anleitung. Mir persönlich macht das nichts, aber es sind sicherlich nicht alle, die einen WLAN-Extender benötigen des (technischen) Englisch mächtig.
