I think this solved my Yellow Algae issue
I've been fighting yellow algae every year no matter how much shock, chlorine, yellow out, borax, throwing away thing and all other things I was told to do to get rid of it. the yellow algae would win. I bought and installed this for this season and to my surprise no yellow algae. no algae at all. I was trying to decide between this and an oxygenator but cost and installation wise I chose this. I was skeptical given I've spend so much money battling the yellow algae.

Does nothing for algae
Installed in a tiny, 1200 gallon kiddie pool, within two weeks our water turned a gorgeous but uninviting slimy foaming emerald green. It may well control bacteria, but that is all. The manufacturer doesn't specifically state in its description that this product eliminates algae, so I'm not claiming any falsehood on their part, however. This is just to inform others that algae control needs to be managed separately if you buy this item.

AMAZING!!!
This cleared the pool up completely and we had crystal clear water before adding ANY chemicals!!! 1st picture is when I first filled pool and second picture is 48 hours later with NO chemicals or any other products added yet!!

Fixed the murk
Our algae problem in a two waterfall system with 1400 gallons circulating has gone away, and the water has never been so clear.

Didn’t work
After installing didn’t see any change in water quality. Still dumping lots of chemicals to try to control algae. Waste of $300.
